Hones Pointe was established in 1988. It was built by four insurance agents to elude our sales managers in a unique natural setting. Over the years, we have planted many different varieties of trees and perennials to observe. Also evidence exists of this area being an Indian camp long ago as suggested by arrowheads and an old handmade rock wall.



Primitive camping where you can pick your own scenic spot. We will furnish picnic table, fire ring, garbage can, and charcoal grill during your campout.

**Brooks Mobile & RV Park**

Brooks RV Park is the safest RV Park in the Louisville area. It is beautifully landscaped with all 50 amp full hook-up RV sites, located just 1.8 miles from I-65! We are the only RV Park in Louisville Kentucky with creek front and concrete pad sites. We are conveniently and centrally located for easy access to all Louisville, KY has to offer yet far enough away from the Freeway so there is no road noise. There are 2 nice golf courses within 3 miles. We are located near shopping, restaurants, Churchill Downs, Downtown Louisville, the Bourbon Distillery Trail, and many other attractions.

Daily rates for full hookup sites start at $35 a night. Weekly rates start at $220, and monthly rates start at $445. We offer preferred creek front sites, over-sized sites, pull through sites, concrete pad sites, and hill side sites. All sites include 50 amp electric, water, and sewer. There is a dumpster next to lot 62. Lawn care is provided. There are monitored security cameras in our beautiful and very safe park. We have 50 to 30 amp adapters for sale on site. Currently Wi-Fi is broadcast and available near the center of the park at lot 50. Come and enjoy the beautiful new landscaping in this peaceful RV Park with a creek. The park has paved roads, and this is a big rig park that can handle coaches as large as 50 feet. Because we are conveniently located in the greater Louisville metropolitan area, please know there is a nearby train track, and we are only 8 miles from the Louisville International airport as well, but you get used to it! Thankfully there is no freeway noise, which can be very loud. We do not have bathrooms or a shower house, or a pool, but we do have a credit card laundry facility on site.

We strive to offer excellent customer service, so please feel free to call if you have any issues! We have an on-site Assistant Manager, Annie who is located on Lot 12A, and you can reach her after you arrive by calling (502) 276-6090 or look for Annie doing landscaping in the park.

We love our long term RV guests! We are open all year long, and we welcome full timers to come stay with us!

Brooks Mobile & RV Park

Jefferson Memorial Forest features a campground for tent camping and can accommodate both families and groups. Although the Forest is only minutes from Metro Louisville, camping here seems like a much more remote camping experience. Located within the Horine Reservation, the campground is in the uplands of the Forest and has good separation between individual campsites. Seven family campsites and four group campsites are available. Latrines and water are near to all the sites.

This listing is for tent, car, or small RV camping- We currently do not rent the tree house since it is my home. I may rent it out in the future and I will have a cabin available later in the year  

  

We are on a solar powered, off the grid 60 acre homestead that has 54 acres of wooded land and 6 acres of groomed land. Come explore our land and relax in the"Tree Web", see the 2 story tree house that I live in, have fun on the tire swing, or just sit and enjoy all that nature has to offer. You can explore our interesting topography that has close to 100 foot of elevation changes, our(mostly) dry creek system that starts with 2 springs that drain into 3 sinkholes or walk 3 miles of trails (if you follow each trail from end to end). Camping can be in the Black Walnut Grove, in an open field or a shady grove. We like to interact with people or you can keep to yourself and have a quiet getaway in the woods. We love groups- Host your event here or have a group gathering with all your friends and family. We have spaces large enough to host hundreds of people.

Of the six parks in the Bluegrass State, Mammoth Cave is the only true national park. This area of southwestern Kentucky holds the best outdoor activities to be found in the state.

There are a large number of campsites across a few campgrounds, and Mammoth Cave Campground holds most of them. Both Mammoth Cave and Maple Springs Campgrounds are accessible for RVs. Backcountry camping is also available for interested hikers. The caves are, of course, the big draw, and no matter where you stay, you should take a cave tour. Since there are no nearby forests or BLM land, the best camping near Mammoth Cave National Park is fairly far away at the Green River Lake Wildlife Management Area. If you can’t get a spot in the park, staying in nearby Park City or Brownsville, KY, is the best choice.
