Amazing. The facilities are non existent so be prepared to use your.

This place is amazing even though the facilities are not great just be prepared to use your own. However the views the people in the bar and grill make up for everything. I absolutely love this place in the lake views are amazing. One of my favorite places I've ever stayed in the country..

Clarks Ferry

The spots are spaced out and angled nicely. Good view of the river. Has a nice handicap accessible dock. Very clean and well kept. The trains are noisy, other than that very quiet.

Small but nice

Camping area is small and so is the sites. But, trails are concrete so people with mobility concerns can easily get around. There is WiFi available at the Conservation Center and if you grab at camping site at the end you can get the WiFi.

Basic, full hookup CG.

Relatively wide open, sites adjacent to one another. Utilities all worked fine, decently maintained. Non-camper traffic is annoying (event center inside CG), lots of people well above ppsted 10 mph limit. Recommend getting site well away from any of the entrances or roads that lead to event center.

Camp on the Banks of the Mississippi

This Army Corps of Engineers’ campground is on the banks of the Mississippi River. Your federal pass gives you half price so the $20 nightly fee is reduced to $10.

Some sites are directly on the river. Site 13 seemed to be one of the best situated. We stayed in Site 12 which had a beautiful,…

Very convenient for visiting the Amana Colonies.

We tent camped here for two nights so we could visit the Amana Colonies. This is an RV park with tent sites on the lawn around the perimeter. A bit of a walk to the bathroom and showers, but the sites were level with short grass. The bathrooms and showers were very clean, and everyone was…

Basic but Enjoyable

We stayed at Illiniwek for 2 weeks in our 2021 Keystone Hideout 250BH. They have water and electric sites as well as primitive (yet we didn't try or ask if we can camp on primitive with our RV, but there was a smaller motor home on one of the sites). The site was fairly level and had decent space…

Checks all the boxes

A ton to do here, very clean well kept grounds. Concrete pads. Sites seemed to be a decent size. Lots of activities that are included in the cost to stay here, which justifies the $99 per night. Free paddle boats, canoes, pool, kids crafts, indoor pingpong, indoor bags, indoor air hockey table, and…
