Park Terrace Campground - West Lake Park

CG open yest round with sites offering: fire ring/ firewood, tables, water, electric, pads, office, seasonal host, recycling. Park offers 4 lakes to fish, paddle, disc golf course, shelters to rent, trails, cabins, concessions at swimming beach. Play areas, volleyball, bags and horseshoes, dump station. New playground being installed.

This was a nice surprise on our way out west. We reserved site 121. Not all sites are reservable. Our site was level and we didn’t need to unhook from our 40 foot 5th wheel. Check in is at Gate 5 and you can get firewood there. It’s better to approach from the south so when you pull over on the side of the road to go to the office, you are facing north to head to Gate 1 for Summit Campground. The young woman at the office was very friendly and made a copy of the map for me since they didn’t have any to hand out. The host is on site plus a park ranger was frequently driving around to check on things. We were there on Labor Day weekend and everyone quieted down in the evening. There are nice trails to walk and a lake for fishing and for paddle boats. The sites have water and electric. They even have frisbee golf. We really enjoyed our time there and will stop again if we have the opportunity.

CG open all year, offers standard sites including electric, water, septic, fire rings, tables. Firewood, ice, recycling, showers/RR, host available. Sites have shade and Tent sites available. Park offers 4 lakes for fishing, paddling, and a seasonal beach for swimming with concessions. Park has hiking trails, world-class disc golf course, playgrounds, picnicking, shelter rentals.
