I live about 30 minutes from this campground and love it! Clean, quiet and cheap! Launch your canoes or kayaks from the campground, or book a trip from nearby White River Canoe Company and they'll pick you up. Across a historic river bridge from a huge county park with walking/biking/equestrian…
This campground is great! The creek is awesome for catching tadpoles and minnows. And definitely take time to float or kayak down the river. The pond is stocked with GIANT fish (catch and release only) and definitely go for a hike over at Turkey Run. Our site (4) was a good location for us,…
My daughter and I had our very first camping experience in our new converted van at McCormick’s Creek. When you arrive, there is a minimal entrance fee of $7. You are given a map and directions to your destination. Everyone was so kind and helpful. I didn’t know what to expect as this was my first…
Nice trails, swim pad for kids, next to casino
Fun for the kiddos but expensive.
Everything is brand new, including shower houses . Camping / rv spots a little close together, but nice.
Beautiful and very quiet. Don’t bother buying firewood because it’s Impossible to start a fire here. We dumped about half our cooking oil on and still no dice after like an hour and a half.
Very nice place. The owner is working to make even better
I stayed at site 58 from Thursday through Sunday. As expected, the park was not busy at all, probably 30% full. Friday afternoon into the evening it began to fill up to capacity. Most sites are separated by trees or bushes making them fairly private. There are very few showers so timing will be…
We hold our annual Family reunion here every year! Very affordable for everyone traveling into town. Huge Pavilions to rent with access to restrooms and playgrounds. Also great aquatic center that’s cheap!!

Not a ton of hiking trails but the site was shaded and good size and the pool was really nice! Very quiet even though it was packed, and there were tons of families around. Will definitely keep on our list!
We had spot 234, big, wooded, close to clean shower house, close to playground. State park is great hiking. Avoid the inner part of that loop if you want any shade, it is an open area.

We stayed for a long weekend. Large group set up in sites 236-244. Great shaded area. Lots of play space for the kids.
Rustic camping; does have water fill station but contrary to the information does not have water hookups for RVs in the sites. Does have dump station and showers. Sites very close together so little privacy. At least one site even next to dumpster. Seems they crammed too many sites into campground.…

Stayed Spring 2021. Site 108 is clean, level and well groomed. Close to bath house facilities.
