Love, love, LOVE this campground! There is ample space on most of the outer lots of the loop. Many trails nearby. Starved Rock State Park is absolutely amazing, and it’s not far from the even more amazing Matthiesen State Park. Both have the most beautiful waterfalls, so be sure to hit both but be prepared to walk! Make reservations ahead of time.
