Fun for a night.

We arrived 9/13/21. We had site 17 reserved but Betsy at the camp check-in told us there were some other sites available and a bit more secluded, although it was not busy at all. We opted for the sites close to the boat launch, but regretted it as it was very dusty and dry. Campsite offered a fire…

Large private sites

Beautiful shady campground with large private sites.  Sites 111 - 139 are more open with less privacy, but they have lake views and are near the concession stand and boat launch.  Sites in the other loops are all very shaded and private.  The shower houses were clean and large, in good repair.  The…

Nice stopping point on a trip

We stayed for a long weekend at the end of June when the campground was almost completely full.  The camp hosts were lovely!  Since we did not have reservations ahead of time, we chose from the walk-in sites, which I believe are the first two loops closest to the entrance.  Those sites, 5-46E, are…

Basic but Enjoyable

We stayed at Illiniwek for 2 weeks in our 2021 Keystone Hideout 250BH. They have water and electric sites as well as primitive (yet we didn't try or ask if we can camp on primitive with our RV, but there was a smaller motor home on one of the sites). The site was fairly level and had decent space…

Checks all the boxes

A ton to do here, very clean well kept grounds. Concrete pads. Sites seemed to be a decent size. Lots of activities that are included in the cost to stay here, which justifies the $99 per night. Free paddle boats, canoes, pool, kids crafts, indoor pingpong, indoor bags, indoor air hockey table, and…

Blanding Landing, USACE (Corps of Engineers) Campground

Quiet, relaxing small campground with super clean hot showers and flush toilets in shower house. Boat ramp, dock fishing, tall trees all over. Shady sites, water pump faucets, dump station. Our first night here the many trains were loud and woke us up, but if you can laugh instead of being annoyed,…

Mesmerizing trees

Loved this place! We stayed in a tent only site, tucked in the middle of the trees. We had a ton of room to decide our camp site layout. The trees are gorgeous and felt so peaceful.

The campground host was very friendly and helpful. We picked up some firewood at the marina. They give you quite a…

Tall trees and unique hiking trail system

This is an interesting spot. The camp host engaged us in conversation and we learned about their Alaskan dreams. We ended up in the campsite right across from the host. It was busy but we had plenty of space so it worked out nicely.

The tall trees gave plenty of shade. Restrooms were a short…

This was a nice quite campground. Great for relaxing and enjoying a camp fire. Great location. Right on the Hennepin Canal. Not far from town. Everyone was nice and very clean shower house.

Lena Koa

This campground is absolutely wonderful. Spots are spaced apart nicely. Many activities for kids and adults. Also, a pool, showers and if you just want a weekend getaway they have cabins as well.

Great Spot on the Mighty Mississippi

I took my children here for years when they were little. As a single mom of 5 it was very manageable. I could see them throughout the entire park. There's fishing, exploring, a playground, and when you see a paddleboat you have time to drive to town before it hits loch & damn #12. It's a…

Nice park, with some downsides.

This is the type of campground you go and check your spot out before you reserve it. Many of the tent campsites are literally on a hill. Some are very close. They really crammed them wherever they could. The amenities are excellent and the only reason I gave 3 stars, the shower/restroom was very…

Great clean place lots to do

Crazy horse is a very clean and well maintained campground with a lot of things to do like river tubing, kayaking, and canoeing.

Also they gave a slot of amenities for the kids like mini golf , jump pad, play grounds and a pool.
