Being from Kentucky I now rank myself as a lightweight after visiting Farragut State Park and realizing the weather people camp during in Idaho! Thimbleberry is a nice size group campground on the far side of Farragut SP. this is a basic area with room to spread out. Pit toilets , but no shower house.

If you want to visit the lake you will need to hike a minute or drive. There is a model plane field nearby and bird watching area. Bay view is nearby for laundry and most importantly COFFEE.
