North Fork Campground - Sawtooth National Forest

 Right off Hwy 75 in the Sawtooth National Forest is this nice campground within a grove of aspens. The road through the campground is gravel and the sites are gravel and dirt. It was quite dusty when we went but the trees were starting to change color which was nice and you can hear the wind shaking the aspen leaves so it made of a relaxing vibe here.

$18/ night, $10 firewood (fire restrictions in effect).  Sites are reservable on recreation.gov.

 Hiking/biking trails nearby and this campground also sits along the Big Wood River. There were garbage dumpsters and pit toilet bathrooms and water spigots throughout. 

Each site had mostly level parking spots with picnic tables and fire pits. Each site was fairly private and offered nice amount of shade. There were plenty of sites open and there are some pull throughs for bigger rigs. 

Good for RVs, vans or tents.

Zero cell reception from ATT, Verizon or TMoblie

This campground is located just north of Catchem Idaho just off the highway. 27 sites. Very clean and well-maintained pick toilets. Larger rigs can also stay at this campsite. Highly recommend.

We really loved this little campground. Sure, it's a little close to the road, but it's so beautiful, central to the area, and is simple to get in and out of for other adventures. It's literally integrated with the "Harriman trail" which provides access up and down the valley for runners, bikers, and hikers. Sites are spacious, bathrooms, although pit toilets, are clean and potable water is readily available. RV'ers won't like this site, as there are no hookups, and clearance to some of the sites might be a little tight. We used it as a base camp to mountain bike, play in the river, and check out the Ketchum area. The camp host was present and was very kind and helpful. We were able to build a nice little campfire, cook some dinner and enjoy the area here. Sleeping was quiet, cool, and restful.
