I love camping along the North Fork Clearwater River! Great fishing and many sites to choose from along the river. I have camped a several sites here and will continue to come back time and time again. Great wildlife viewing, access for fishing and hunting. I love driving up to the top of the Isabella Creek road for viewing Mountain Goats! Bring a really good pair of binoculars or a spotting scope though, they are on the other side of the canyon, but well worth the wait. Best viewing times are at sunrise and sunset. Remember that Bull Trout are listed on the Endangered Species List as threatened, so they are catch and release ONLY! Cutthroats are great. Cool to see the Kokanee spawn in the fall.
