Right on the river.

This Vista owned campground is first come first served. No amenities, no cell service. Pack in pack out. Camp host at the campground. Fishing, boating hiking. Beautiful area. There is a small store top of the hill. Nearest town is 10 miles away. Did I mention it is a free campground!. 14…

Lots of Activities

Cute campground with plenty to do and lots of amenities. Canoe and float rentals, live music on weekends. Full hook ups, clean showers and laundry too. It was perfect for our quick stop over. Only downside was no fire rings.

One nighter

Nice big campground some spots are on the water. Has firewood. Lots of trees. It was kind of loud with the train.

Nice place

Camp sites are a little tight but the services and amenities make it worth it. Hooks ups are nice and they have multiple. They provide canoes to borrow along with free fire wood. Camp store is stocked with some great supplies. Laundry was ok... Many machines were out of service. Overall a good…

Super cute, free firewood and boats is awesome!

Would give this campground 5 stars if it wasn't for all of the noise from i-90. It's a gorgeous little hideaway so close to the city!

Beautiful setting - but......

I have camped @ Sloway for many years. The setting on the Clark Fork River is fantastic, especially for the 4-5 campsites that have river frontage. The I-90 highway runs fairly close to the campground & the noise can be distracting at times. The bigger noise maker is the train that runs on the…

Great family friendly spot

Pros Good flat spots Easy access Water and electric in convenient places Pretty Free firewood Free showers!! Like hot showers. With space to move around. Train noise was no joke but otherwise great

Nice campground, privacy btwn sites was good, right on river, beautiful scenery. We were there late September and it was pretty vacant. The noise from the trains was no joke. Woke us up about 5 times overnight, fortunately toddler slept through it. Overall would stay again.

Came here on accident

My and my lady like this place a lot! Nicely maintained facilities and bathrooms with hot showers. We got there late in the evening with no reservations but we were lucky enough to go online and book it on the spot. There are a few options. RV's and cabins. We got a tent spot, they're fenced to…

Perfect camping layover spot

Lots of camp sites right on the river. Spaced out very nicely. You can hear some highway traffic and the train does com right up next to the river. Not too busy but we were there on a weekday.

Wonderful Place to Camp!

The camping, the grounds and the amenities are fantastic.  The staff go out of there way to make sure you have everything you need.  The access to the lake with free canoe rental and FREE firewood are things we have not encounter anywhere else.  Although we only stayed for the night, I would not…

Perfect spot after long time on the road

CDA (Camp Couer d’Alene) is really pretty awesome. After a few nights at more rugged campgrounds - this place was great. Friendly staff and a few spots to choose from prior to the holiday weekend were a bonus. $41.04 for a tent spot isn’t cheap; but lots of amenities: free canoe use, free…

Well taken care off

Was looking for a tent site close to Coeur d‘Alene and found this park. The tent sites are on a grassy area by the creek. Unfortunately, ground is very uneven and the interstate with heavy truck traffic is right next to it. Felt like the traffic was going through my tent. Park is packed with RVs…

Great overnighter.

Busy little place however there are a few perks that make it special. Number one they allow free use of their canoes. The area to canoe in was beautiful the bonus was seeing a bald eagle! They also give free firewood for your campsite. Two things to consider: Most sites are pretty close to each…
