Great views!!!

We just went to 1000 springs this past weekend. A total of 12 of us in two separate spots. One right on the water and the other in the middle section in the tent camping area. The water was wonderful and we were able to paddle over to Ritter island on our paddle boards. The campsites are decent…

Plenty of room for large rigs

We only stayed for one night. We have a 36ft travel Trailer and we're able to maneuver it very well. The campground road is gravelly and circles most of the small campground so you can look for a good spot. There is one pit toilet, but we didn't use it. We didn't use our computers but was able to…

  • this is the road that circles around the camp ground. it goes farther back, with camping in between the trees.
  • On the right is the entrance, as you can see, it's pretty maintained and close to the road.

Just what I needed...

If you are looking for peace and quiet and clean this is the place. None of the fancy amenities, but impeccably kept grounds. My dog loved the grass, he was rolling in it and running through sprinklers on hot evening. Convince store within walking distance. And yes a great sunset from the bleachers!

Not too bad!

This campground was a nice break after spending the last few nights at Walmart's. Yes, you can hear road noise but still quieter than the city! There were a lot of level spots to chose from and the trees were a welcomed sight in the 90 degree heat.

Perfect overnight stop

Clean and quiet. All paved. Water and electrical hook ups. Pull through spots. Such a great place to stop and a killer sunset from the bleachers.

Great camping experience!

This campground is just outside sun valley, Idaho. When we stayed it was very quiet and many different choices of campsites, you can here the road from your site but it was not disruptive. The bathroom is far from most sites and no cell service but consequently was not the issue, the views were…

Clean but traffic...

Camp ground was clean and nice! River runs close and plenty of shade! The only complaint is it is right next to a busy road so you get to listen to semi trucks drive by all night.

Dispersed sites right on the creek!

My family has camped all along this creek and we love it. It has a lot of dispersed camping spots of varying sizes. There is a big group spot (or spot with a little less privacy for those who don't mind camping near other people) at the beginning of the road and at the end. There is a trail head…

Nice indoor pool close to the Snake River

We used this more of a dock and boat ramp which gave us access to a great stretch of the Snake River. In the building there is a nice warm pool with slides and rolling logs for the kiddies

Great view....better place for tents than RV's.

I rented an RV spot here for a reunion. Not having much experience at an RV park I was surprised at having zero shade and being packed in so tightly and being on gravel! Not kid/family friendly at all. I assumed my kids could set up a couple tents right outside our camper but it wasn't…

In it for the snake

The snake river and the 1,000 Springs are beautiful. Having the opportunity to camp alongside the winding Snake, while watching the sun rise and set over the springs and hear their thundering in the quiet of the night was an amazing opportunity. We brought tubes, life vests, and ropes to tie the…

Nice campground

The Campground was very nice green grass with beautiful big trees by the Snake River. The nice thing about camping in October was the fact that we were the only tent campers. It appears to be much busier with warm weather. There are beautiful views of the waterfalls across the river from the…
