Walk In’s Welcome

We literally pulled in off highway 93 and were immediately welcomed with open arms. The campground is under new management, so is going through a lot of amazing changes! Showers are getting an upgrade and laundry on site now available. Amazing views of the Salmon River

Beaverhead CG

Better than we expected. Missed the turn into this little gem, and traveled across the dam to the pay CG across the lake. That one needs work. Unless you absolutely must have utilities at the site, pass on the pay CG, and stay at Beaverhead. Large, flat gravel pads (our 43.5' TH fits fine), not…

Small campgound on Salmon river and highway

Shoup Bridge  Campground is a small Campground surrounding cottonwood trees along the banks of the Salmon River. It is also right along the Highway.  We found this a pleasant campground to stay in, plenty of flat ground for our tents and only $5 a night.  A few sites are quite small, but still room…

Excellent BLM Campsite

Amazing drive-in BLM campsite right on the Salmon River. Primitive site; no water/bathroom. Great stargazing.

Coming Back ASAP

Site: moderately clean and private. Spaced apart about 3 sites alongside the river access. Trees for hammocking and shade. Relatively even for van parking. Not buggy at all. Can see one person's cabin up the road but that's it. 360 views of mountains, placed at the bottom of a canyon.

Friendly staff and nice formal hot springs

We are full-timers in a 36 ft Class A with a Cherokee Trailhawk tow and stayed in site 27 for 2 days in early August. The campground is well maintained and quiet and there is a walking trail on the property. AT&T coverage was good, with 3 bars of LTE and speeds up to 15 MB/s. Although the CG…

Superb campground!

We stayed the night in a tent site, the place was beautiful! All the grass is nice and green, volleyball court, playground, two different hot pools from Hot springs. Beautiful flowers, right on the river! There's also hiking trails behind the campground.

Primitive between the road and the river

Only one real site with a metal fire pit and an additional site with a rock fire pit, this site sits below the toad next to the Salmon River. Because you are so far below the road and right next to a beautiful stretch of river, you don’t really hear the road. You do hear the neighbors target…
