Some of the nicest in the NP system

The campsites are in a volcanic desert setting and to be in hot weather but if it's cool they are some of the nicest in the NP system, mostly paved pull throughs with water close by. Lots of hiking opportunities in the park for the athleticly fit and a nine mile auto touring trail for the less so. At $15 per site per day, half that for Golden Age passes, a real bargain.
