Sleep by the river

We were grateful to find a spot here for our anniversary trip after it seemed everything around and near Stanley and redfish was full or super crowded. Quiet and beautiful. There’s 5 sites here, we stayed at a group site with 4 adults and 7 kids and had plenty of room. Easily accessible off of paved road. Surrounded by mountains on both sides so even though the sky was hazy from the CA wildfires we could hardly tell. No trash, but there is a toilet. We saw beavers catching fish, deer, chipmunks eating wild currants and rainbow trout (albeit too small to keep). We’d stay here again in a heartbeat.
