Camp Coeur d’Alene is a destination campground with water access to Lake Coeur d’Alene. Wild and remote, yet only 15 minutes from the heart of Downtown Coeur d’Alene. Resident wildlife sets the scene with the lake and mountain for a backdrop. We have cabins, RV spaces, or tent spaces for your stay.

Love this campground best I’ve ever been to and I’ve been to about 25\. Free firewood, pool, showers bathrooms, WiFi, canoes, paddle boats, great fishing, friendly people, playground only complaint is that nowadays they are packed barely have openings, used to cost $24 then they raised there price to $40 but it’s a great campground

Best campground ever

This was a nice clean campground with great amenities. They have a small pool, hot showers and are located on the lake.

We like to stay here when we visit Silverwood Water Park.

Great family friendly campground.

Busy little place however there are a few perks that make it special. Number one they allow free use of their canoes. The area to canoe in was beautiful the bonus was seeing a bald eagle!
They also give free firewood for your campsite. 
Two things to consider: Most sites are pretty close to each other and since everyone enjoys their free firewood it gets quite smokey in the evening. 
Staff are very friendly always working, cleaning etc. I would stay here again!

Great family place 

CDA (Camp Couer d’Alene) is really pretty awesome.  After a few nights at more rugged campgrounds - this place was great.  Friendly staff and a few spots to choose from prior to the holiday weekend were a bonus.  $41.04 for a tent spot isn’t cheap; but lots of amenities: free canoe use, free firewood, hot showers, and some common areas (not real common due to Covid) including a small pool. 

Perfect spot after long time on the road

Just got home from a three night tent stay. The kids had a blast. There were free canoes to use at the lake area, a pool to splash in and lots of room to run around. We had site 3, which was a huge site and right on the water (maybe not the best site if you have little ones).  This site had one scrawny tree, so not a lot of shade. But other tents site were also large and had much more shade. Great campground overall. I loved that they provide free firewood, not that a fire was needed to stay warm when we were there. But camping just isn’t the same without a campfire. 

Great family campground overall 

We were lucky enough to land the island campground which made the whole experience amazing! This place has great amenities (free canoes, hot showers, flush toilets, free firewood) which made it the nicest campground I had been to for awhile. Like I mentioned before, we got the island spot which was far away from every other campsite. If we were camping on the mainland the sites are a little too close one might say. Overall an amazing place to camp! 

Great Location, Family Friendly

Even though the sites are small and close together, they are at different levels as you go up the hill combined with the sites and cabins being tucked under the giant pines, gives you a sense of privacy.   It's a really cute campground/resort.  They offer tent area, Rv area and log cabins of various sizes.  Pool. Boat launch with access to coeur d'Alene lake.  Beautiful setting.  Cell signal is good.

Conveniently located right off the highway. Was able to easily book a site last minute. Nice pull thru with shade.

Great views 

I’m typically a dispersed camper type but needed to stay close to the city for work. The RV spaces are tight and I was 6ft from neighbors on both sides, but created a nice social environment if that’s what you’re looking for. Lots of amenities like pool, bathrooms, fire pits with free wood, if you’re looking for a resort experience this is a great clean and friendly place to be. 

Jam packed

Lots of amenities including pool, bathrooms, hot showers, fire pits with free wood and free access to canoes. The sites are small and close together but being at different levels you get some privacy. Giant pines also provided shades that was quite welcome.  

  

One of the reason we spent some time there was to ride on "Trail of Coeur D'Alene".  The trail was not close enough to ride from the campground but could be reach by car in about 20 minutes.

Very nice family campground

Nice camp set in the woods. Close to I 90, but far enough away to be pretty quiet. Great scenery. Free fire pit wood. Free canoe use. Nice facilities. Wanted to stay longer.

Super crowded but beautiful area 

This was my second time camping here. Was happy to return with my family this time. Well ran, but busy place. Free firewood is much appreciated. Dog friendly. Was great to catch up laundry (located directly across from the pool) while the kids swam. All facilities are clean. Free access to peddle boats &amp; canoes to take out on the lake as well as life vest.
