Views of Sunsets Spectacular!

We'd give it 5 stars, but the bathrooms need updating and could be cleaner. Sites up from the bath house up the rising peninsula section are our favorites. Becoming fairly busy in summer, due to all of us writing such good reviews. Shhh!

Very Nice

Awesome little campground. Spots were decently spaced. There was a lot of changes going on. The map online wasn’t exactly correct. Spot 45 showed primitive camping behind it but actually had lake access!

Happy 4th

This was the first stop on our 10 day July 4th trip. This is a campground that we had visited many times in the past with our kids. In those days we tent camped and it is perfect family tent camping campground.
This was our first time in our travel trailer and it required lots of skills to…

Mostly seasonal residential but…

Came here after escaping Van Hook Glade in Highlands. Most of the sites are occupied by permanent seasonal residents. They are all very nice people. We had a mishap arriving which caused damage to our trailer. 3 people including the owner rushed to help us. Quiet. Riverside spots. Would not have…

Nice campground, tight, not much to do.

The campground is very well kept and site are level enough. It is a bit far out and the sites are tight together.

Great escape!

Spacious tent only/walk in only spots. During the week is best!! Great low key/high elevation spot….I chose the walk in/tent only spot Be prepared to hike some stuff up and down a muddy trail! Awesome to me!

Beautiful place on the river

Gorgeous sites, lots of kids activities, pool, and close to Mingo Falls. Our site said it would fit a 32 ft camper and it really doesn’t; we had a super hard time getting in and thought we might have to leave. So just beware that your site might not be as big as stated. That’s my only reason why it…

Great Location

We had a great time at Kirklands Creek Campground. The amenities were great, location was fantastic and Jason (Camp Host) went above and beyond to make sure our stay was very pleasurable. We will definitely come back.

Beautiful and Well Maintained

This is a really nice and well-kept RV campsite near Cullasaja Falls. Many of the RV sites are more permanent and have built structures, but some are also set up with concrete pads for driving in. They also have a fun covered space for hanging out and building fires when the weather is not great.…

Beautiful views

One of my all time favorites! It’s situated atop a ridge, so most sites have amazing views and the weather is cool in the summer. We have had mice issues in the past, so I do recommend storing food in mouse-proof containers. Also great for seeing elk. Located in the MST so you can hike directly…

Depends on where you camp!

We have stayed here a few times, and it makes a big difference where you camp.

Apple tree and dogwood loops are congested & poorly vegetated, thus not feeling private at all.

Poplar (the only generator-free loop!) is wooded and spaced nicely. Our large van fit very comfortably. Highly…

Worth the stay.

Campgrounds are close to the road, so you can hear trucks and cars passing, it’s quiet enough that’s not going to bother your sleep but it takes away from the being immersed in nature feel. They’re a little close together, and the area near the bathhouses and trash had a strong enough smell that I…

Amazing location, lots of stairs.

This is a beautiful campground with awesome trails right from the campground. Lots of stairs to the bottom of the gorge but so worth it. Beautiful views from all trails and a very cool suspension bridge.

Nice campground in the north Georgia mountains

This is a state park in the north Georgia mountains and is great for cooling off from the Atlanta metro heat of the summer.   The campground is well maintained and the bathhouses are very clean (they have individual ones).  The park has some great hiking trails from easy (lake trail), moderate…
