Campsite was flooded when we got there, there was trash all along the area going down to the lake and the bathrooms/showers were DISGUSTING! Employees were very rude.
This is a great place for families to come for a fun time. They have plenty of activities to keep the kids busy. There’s a kiddie pool and a big kid pool, a jump pad and an inflatable slide, a nice playground, and a small arcade that’s affordable. The office staff is great and helpful. The only…
Most of the spots are distanced a good ways from other sites. They are a little close to the paved path for my taste though. Plenty of restrooms. Fairly clean and quiet park.
Great place with beautiful view of the lake. Clean facilities.
I just stayed one night in May, but the entire area is beautiful. I saw lots of deer and squirrels. The facility was undergoing renovations, so the restroom facility near my campsite was closed. There were plenty more within walking distance. I would definitely recommend
We had our wedding and honeymoon here it was quite and peaceful
Lots of open space, trees, by a river. Clean bath house with hot showers. Right on Chief Ladiga Rail trail about 6 miles west of AL/GA border. We road east, will come back to ride west segment. Dark at night for star gazing. Friendly folks.
This is a very nice place. With great people and great views. Getting out in nature,as this place allows, brings us back to our roots, connects us back to the Earth and it's other inhabitants, the animals and plants. This is a wonderful place to do this.
Camp site was easy to pull in , picnic table was on one side and fire ring was on the other, which once you settle down, the view was nice. Two site over, neighbors were loud but the neighbors on the other side were quite.

Stayed for two weeks while working in Villa Rica. Park is quite and well kept. Has nice paved walking/bike trails and well kept natural trails. One trail follows the Tallapoosa River with areas that have benches. Pond and lake are a bust for fishing. Doesn’t seen as if stock was kept up. Has only…
Very secluded area on Lake Lanier

The spots are on the river. There are porto johns nearby. But there is a nice bath house at the old ranger station. Good showers for the campers.
Its not far from civilization but you feel like you are far away from it when you drift to sleep on a starry night under pink moon on the water
Easy to book and pay online, nice (short) hiking trails, geocaching, play areas for kids, full hook ups in the upper loop.
Con- weekend crowd destroyed bathrooms, sites are close together, if you get someone who doesn't know how to park in the loop, you struggle to leave
Nice big spaced out spots, that offer full hook ups. Friendly staff, good hiking trails, creeks for kids to play in. Pull through and back in paved sites. They also offer tent sites.
Cons - have to call to book, weekend campers destroyed bathhouses, and lack of cleaning crew
