Seems unorganized

I have called twice now to be told that they are unable to book my stay because the supervisor is away till the 12th. Than I'm told the second time I called that I could call tomorrow and maybe um um oh Diana could approve a reservation for me. Both young ladies was very sweet however they seem to…

Big beautiful park, restored bathrooms were fantastic, and the well stocked country store has friendly people.

First Time Camper

This was my first time camping and I really didn’t know what to expect. I thought it would be awful. Camping at Suwannee was awesome! There was so much to do - swim, see the bat houses at night, and so much area to walk around and explore. The tree houses and some cabin had great lights lit up at…

Awesome campground and facilities!

We stayed here a couple of years ago while visiting family and friends in Lake City, about 20 miles away.  I was very impressed with the facilities, very clean and well kept.  Site 19 is a long pull through with plenty of room for a big rig and tow vehicle.  Picnic table and fire ring available. …

Spanish Moss , Croaking Frogs and Hooting Owls

We spent two February nights in Hutch Gibson County Park & Boat Ramp. The park is on the banks of the Suwannee River and the trees are dripping with Spanish moss. The camp host was friendly and the campground was clean and peaceful. It had rained a lot the week before making the water too high…

Great place, plenty of room

This is a great stopover. Only issue is they dont enforce mask protocol. Seven customers and three people behind the counter, none with mask. Otherwise, I would have given it a 5.

I've coming to suwannee for 8 years now, for sure I'd rather go during festivals, but to camp and see the Christmas lights over the Christmas time was very nice and relaxing...

Fantastic Place to Camp

Pulled in to camp after dark. Talked to Ranger Kevin on the way in and he went above and beyond to make sure we had all the information we needed. We had a pull through site that made setup a breeze. Immaculate bathrooms, showers, and heated dressing area. The campground hosts checked in on us…

Perfect for "primitive" camping

Arrived here for a three-night tent stay in early October after staying at the George L. Smith State Park in Georgia. This place has soo much potential. It was quite deserted. Switched from spot 324 to 375 next to the lake where it was more level. What's up with the restrooms though? There are a…

Huge campground

We like this campground because you can rent a golf cart and drive around and explore a ton. We went in Dec 2018 and March 2020. We were the last tent campers they allowed there. Hopefully they are renovating the restrooms. They are truly awful, but we made it work. We love the little beach on the…

Very clean and fun

A lot of the allotted tent sites were in weird spots near the road or among the cabins but we found a nice spot near the lake. Using our own kayaks on the water was free, but they also have boats and canoes for rent. Trails are pretty and easy. Only complaint was a loud group of teenagers in the…

Great music venue

This is a great music venue. The sites are extremely close together and very open. They do have equestrian camping. Our site had full hookups water electric and sewer. There is a bar and restaurant on site with live music which was great. There is a swimming pool, a treehouse and cabins you can…

Really beautiful campground

The campground was laid out very nice and was very large. They are very pet friendly and have an area to even board your horse. Everything was really wonderful and the café had decent food. My only complaint is that it looks like it is sort of run down and some things need fixing. There are several…
