Cozy Country Campground

This is the perfect campground for peace and quiet! You take a dirt road back in. We have a 32 foot Fifth Wheel and had no issues traveling the dirt road! Out of all the roads you take in life you ought to make at least a few of them dirt!!! The owner was so wonderful and such a blessing! We broke…

Easy Going and very helpful

We wanted primitive camping away from everyone. They had space from the neighbors.

Bath house was dirty from lack of use, water pressure was fantastic!

Lots of Mosquitoes and yellow flies.

Sitesomewhere away from everyone I under the trees by the swamp.

Owner

We are nestled back in the woods. Quiet area spacious sites 30’ wide x 100’ long . We have a laundry room coin operated washer and dryer.

Sites have a 3 degree slope due to natural fall in property. We have walking trails, golf cart trails, and miles of dirt roads to get out a ride. Ogeechee river…

Cute place right in town

This is a nice, clean park contently located on Highway 25 near downtown Statesboro, GA. They have full hook-up and level sites, most of which are pull-through. The wifi is strong. The grass is cut. The hosts are helpful and friendly. Parkwood is not a getaway, it's more of a stopover. We stayed…

Nice little campground

Camp ground is nice, clean, organized and friendly. Great pizza at the camp store. Also has beer and wine from local brewers and winery. Camp store does lack selection of snacks and stuff but still nice.

Aiken state park

Small State Park, but the sites are nice. Clean facilities and flat wide spots. Not much activities here other than fishing or kayaking but the river is beautiful.

Barnyard

This Campground is well maintained with level pull through sites. No frills like a pool but it's easy access. Congaree National Park Fort Jackson are nearby. Columbia is a neighboring city. They have a large flea market next door.

Unplanned Stop

After a long day of battling our Jeep still suffering from a bad repair job. We made our reservation via the river pass site; easy to book and quickly confirmed. Upon arrival Joe greeted us a smile and a pun, assisted with our set up, even invited us to poker night!

Since we booked so late our…

Nice hiking trail, beautiful lake views.

The main campground is flat making it easy to back up campers or RV’s in slots. Some pull through spots. We were tent camping and choose a walk in slot. 27, 28 & 29. Our site was 29 it is about 100 yards from the main campground down a single lane sandy road that leads into a wooded area. We…

This is a typical state park, not exciting, but mostly quiet.

The road going into the campground is horrible if you are towing a camper and full of potholes but is manageable. We are tent campers, so this didn’t affect us.

We tent camped in site #1, and the park was full this weekend. There are…
