## Overview

 Eastbank Campground is located on Lake Seminole on the Georgia-Florida state line. The lake and surrounding area provide a variety of outdoor recreational opportunities for fishing, camping, boating, picnicking, hiking, biking and birding.
## Recreation

 Lake Seminole is known as one of the best sites for sports fishing in America. Extensive stump and grass beds provide abundant cover where anglers fish for largemouth, hybrid, striped and white bass. Sizable populations of catfish, crappie and bream are also present. Over 79 species of fish have been identified in the lake. Boating, water skiing and swimming are popular activities. The campground offers a boat ramp, dock and a fish cleaning station.
## Facilities

 The campground is open year-round and offers a total of 65 sites, most of which have both electric and water hookups. Flush toilets, showers, drinking water, laundry facilities and a dump station are provided. A group picnic shelter is on-site.
## Natural Features

 Lake Seminole has a surface area of 37,500 acres with 376 miles of shoreline. A pine and hardwood forest covers the rolling hills around the lake. A variety of wildlife makes its home around Seminole Lake, including raccoons, alligators, ring-necked ducks, canvasbacks, scaup, hawks, bald eagles, black vultures, tortoises and snakes.
## Charges &amp; Cancellations

 Change and Cancellation Policies and Fees Overnight and Day Use Facilities: To ensure fairness, reservation arrival or departure dates may not be changed beyond the booking window until 18 days after booking the reservation.\_\_ Camping / Day Use: A $10.00 service fee will apply if you change or cancel your reservation (including campsites, cabins, lookouts, group facilities, etc.). The $10.00 service fee will be deducted from the refund amount. You can cancel or change reservations through Recreation.gov or by calling 1-877-444-6777.\_\_ Late Cancellations Overnight and Day Use Facilities: Late cancellations are those cancelled between 12:01 a.m. (Eastern) on the day before arrival and check out time on the day after arrival. Individual Campsites: If a customer cancels a reservation the day before or on the day of arrival they will be charged a $10.00 service fee and will also forfeit the first night\'s use fee (not to exceed the total paid for the original reservation). Cancellations for a single night\'s reservation will forfeit the entire use fee but no cancellation fee will apply. Group Facility: If a customer cancels a group overnight facility reservation within 14 days of the scheduled arrival date they will be charged the $10.00 service fee and forfeit the first night\'s use fee. Cancellations for a single night\'s use will not be assessed a service fee. Group Day Use Area: If a customer cancels a group day use facility reservation within 14 days of the scheduled arrival date, they will forfeit the total day use fee with no service fee charge.\_\_ No-Shows Camping / Day Use: A camping no-show customer is one who does not arrive at a campground and does not cancel the reservation by check-out time on the day after the scheduled arrival date. Reserved campsites and group overnight facilities will be held until check-out time on the day following your scheduled arrival. Group day-use facilities will be held until check-in time on your scheduled arrival date.\_\_ If a customer does not arrive at the campground or group facility by check-out time the day after arrival or does not cancel the reservation by the times listed under \"Late Cancellations\" above, the customer may be assessed a $20.00 service fee and forfeit use fees.\_\_ Refunds Customers must request refunds no later than 14 days after the scheduled departure date. Recreation.gov will not grant refund requests after 14 days of departure.\_\_ Reservation Fee: For some facilities, tours or permits an additional reservation fee is charged. For some overnight and day-use facilities, an additional non-refundable reservation fee may apply. The non-refundable reservation fee for tours and tickets is $1.00. The non-refundable reservation fee for permits varies by location. Refunds for Bankcard Purchases: Refunds for bank card payments will be issued as a credit to the original bank card. Refunds for Check or Cash Purchases: Refunds for Recreation.gov payments made by check or money order, and cash payments at selected campgrounds will be issued a check refund. A refund will be processed within 30 days of receipt and approval. Please Note: Refund requests made during or after departure can only be processed when approved by the facility management staff based upon local policy. Refunds for Emergency Closures: In the event of an emergency closure, the Recreation.gov team will attempt to notify users and offer alternate dates (as appropriate). If this is not possible, reservations will be cancelled and all fees paid will be refunded. Reservation fees for free tickets are non-refundable in the event of an emergency closure.\_\_

Eastbank

These sites are really for RVs of every size and are truly all about the lake. Either for fishing or for a nice relaxing evening enjoying the sunsets. There are 3 loops with both restroom/shower/laundry facilities on the B loop and for some reason, it seemed that everyone really wanted to drive from the other loops to the facilities in the back which had knobs for the showers instead of short timed buttons. There are unfortunately only 2 dedicated tent sites which are off to the side a nice distance from the RV loops, but it's right by the boat ramp which also has a nice bright streetlamp so be prepared for people coming and going early and/or arriving late in the evening along with the ever present light. We camping in our tent at site 59 which is one of the few sites which has a nice stretch of open grass and tree coverage along with the either leveled concrete pad or gravel "driveway" surfaces at the sites. Each site had a nice grill, fire ring, picnic table, prep table and lantern/bag hook. We thankfully had the trees to partially obscure the streetlamp, but thankfully had brought eyemasks... If you're afraid of animals sneaking up on your tent at night, then this campground is definitely for you, as with all the extremely bright lights on all night long you won't have to worry about anything bothering you in the slightest... Overall, the camp host and the staff were incredibly nice and went out of their way to make sure we were in a nice spot for using our tent. Although there are some better sites on loops A and C because they are right on the water people tend to book those out for weekends way in advance.

Great "RV sites" which are all about the lake

This was our second visit to this beautiful COE park. Due to the warm weather there were many sites available to us in early August. We were able to get a waterfront site with a long gravel drive, picnic table and fire pit. There are a variety of sites available depending on your preference for sun or shade. The campground hosts were very friendly and helpful.
The campground has electric and water at each site with a dump station available. There is a boat launch and a very nice fish cleaning hut near the dump station to process your catch.  The restrooms and showers were clean. We happened to be there during May fly season so there were a lot of bugs. We even saw a deer while out for a walk. 


Waterfront camping at its best 

Nice park! Sites are big! Only electric and water no sewage hookups but do have a dump station. Staff are nice! And you always see them doing something on a daily! We stayed 5 days. We were right off the water so the sunrises and sunsets were amazing! A couple things that turned sour! The ANTS and FLYING ROACHES! OMG they almost took over our camper! This was our first trip camping with our brand new camper so we didn’t have spray for ants or roaches! I was battling them with our Repel insect spray. If you stay get a site with no trees and that’s not near the water. The dragonflies at a certain time of day are outrageous too! On the positive note! The skies are AMAZING! At night especially with the stars, PERFECT!

I have mixed thoughts!

Lovely and peaceful. Pulled in after dark - made backing in a bit challenging. Woke up to lovely views in tranquil surrounds. Would definitely pull in again. 


Beautiful views, peaceful setting

A perfect spot for our first adventure! Site was level and spotless. We chose one based on the maps/pics and it did not disappoint. Ours had a deck instead of the gravel picnic area and it was perfect! Fire pit, clean grill, solid picnic table all included. NBC and CBS for sports via the antenna. Bathrooms were pristine! Gorgeous views of the lake and late fall foliage. Hosts were great and offered help with anything we were unsure of. Definitely a winner!

Quiet and clean 

This is a great COE campground on Florida Georgia border. Everyone here was so friendly. Sites are large but very open. Three camping loops. We stayed in C 17. Great site all have fire rings, picnic table, lantern pole, charcoal grill, and prep table. Sites are paved or gravel. Several pull through sites. Great for larger rigs. Loops A &amp; C have waterfront sites. Loop B is inner part of campground. Bathhouses have separate showers from restroom area. Campground is right on lake Seminole. Great fishing, boating, and kayaking. Went in February it was cold and very windy coming off lake. Not much to do in area but great for long weekend stay. Ate at local restaurant called Rutabaga cafe which was great. You are right on the time zone switch so your phone will switch from eastern to central several times. There are amenities close by such as grocery, liquor store, Dollar general. Jim Woodruff Dam is across the lake. It was closed to visitors but we drove to the overlook  which was cool. Will definitely come back for another stay.

Friendly COE campground

Our 2nd time to this campground. This time with our local WBCCI club. The sites are spaced well to provide some privacy and the lake backdrop makes for an enjoyable evening. 
Verizon service is adequate, 50amp service was flawless as was the potable water. We left early on a Monday sand had no backup at the dump station. 

Another great ACOE campground.

Have waited six months into our RV life to start reviews for fair comparisons. Stayed 6 nights in 35 foot RV+tow car in 2 different sites at$24/night. About par for the course for ACE campground: quiet, peaceful, on a lake. Not much to do in the park, and not really a whole lot in the surrounding area. Got caught up on laundry and just did a lot of relaxing. Lots of good bird watching, a few alligators seen as well. Road is very steep from the entrance into the park, but manageable. Based on other reviews about that steep section, we unhooked ahead of time. Camp hosts were so incredibly friendly and really helped us out with mail delivery.

Nice campground on Seminole lake. Each site has water and electric. Beautiful sunsets.

If you’re tent camping, sites B64 and B65 are a bit isolated in their own area and right on the water. Not much shade (though 65 next door does have a tree) so better for the cooler months, but you can fish or kayak right from your spot! Tent sites are on $14/night, and usually have good availability, so a great deal.

We have enjoyed beautiful sunsets over the lake! We love that it is well kept and you can gather fallen limbs to place in the fire pit rings. No sewer hookups but there is a dump station. This is the place if you just want to relax as there isn’t much to do except fish. Overall enjoyed the relation!

Quiet

Great sized spots and beautiful lake views.  Very friendly staff, bathrooms and showers are typical.  Well maintained.  Not much for trails, but nice boat ramp and dock for boating.  Extra parking also plentiful.

Great small campground!

Eastbank Campground on Lake Seminole is a small, COE campground with 3 loops. Two are along the shore of the lake and provide great lake and sunset views. Trees are scattered throughout te campgrounds and provide some partially shaded sites. The campsites are too close together for my taste and provide for little privacy. If you are outside, your neighbors are in view unless you are looking at the lake. The bathrooms were clean, but the showers were only lukewarm. We had to keep our windows closed and air conditioning on until late at night because our neighbors were loud talkers.

We love Eastbank. Third visit and never had the ant problem often referenced. The peaceful sunsets are awesome. Nicely spaced lots, some more level than others

Used showers on previous trips. Individual lockable rooms, clean. 

Definitely repeatable Lovely COE Great Quality 

Nice campsites on the water. Buggy as can be, so bring spray. A lot of ants also, so bring more spray. Sunsets are beautiful. Bathrooms are typical camper bathes, but clean enough. Great place for walks, picnics and bike riding.

Beautiful and quiet. Great cell service from all 3 providers. Magical sunsets and sunrises.

We stayed here for our annual New Year camping trip.

The bathrooms were good.

There was also a trail to the Dam, it took you from Georgia to Florida.  

We will come back to this area.

Nice Campground on the lake

We stayed here for four nights starting with the Monday holiday. It was quiet, peaceful and everyone was super friendly. The sunsets were amazing! Get a lakeside site if you can for the most spectacular views. 

  

I thought I saw on their website that they had laundry facilities, but no, just a room with plumbing that should go to machines. No worries though, the wash can wait! 

  

Take a walk over to the dam breast. You can walk to Florida and back :)
