About 20 minutes west of downtown Savannah, CreekFire RV Resort is conveniently located 1/2 a mile from the intersection of Interstate 95 and Highway 204 – easily accessible from all directions.





CreekFire Resort

20 minutes away from historic Savannah, but this place really impressed me for my overnight. Had a paved pull through (site 39) and it was ultra clean, level, and everything here seems brand new. They have gravel sites too, but the paved sites are more convenient and it looked like every site has its own fire pit (the office delivers firewood on request). Upon entering the park, you see a huge oak tree with gray moss (classic Savannah) and a very nice, new, country-club-like office and family-friendly pool. They seemed to be finishing a kid play pool and a lazy river with palm trees next to the existing tennis court. Staff escort to your site is a nice touch and so is curbside trash pickup (no recycling, unfortunately). The best surprise of all, and what makes this place really unique, is the restaurant and bar on the lake where we listened to live music (amazing singer) in Adirondack chairs around a huge, stone fire pit with trendy Edison bulb tea lights strung overhead. The only drawback was there was nothing for me to eat on my plant-based (vegan) diet and even the frozen piña colada had dairy whipped cream on top. Despite the park being very up-to-date, the general attitude of the staff, although friendly, did not seem very progressive. For example, only one younger staff member (out of many) in the indoor office and restaurant wore a mask during the rising Covid outbreak. More concern for the health and safety of their staff and guests is needed here. 

Lakeside Restaurant/Bar & Live Music

Spent spring break week at Creekfire Motor Ranch and cant be more pleased. The staff was very accommodating and helpful. The park is clean and very well maintained. You owe it to yourself to book a week or weekend at this great Savannah Ga getaway.

Creekfire is time well spent

Creekfire was a nice park.  The price was a little expensive and they charged an additional $5 a day for "resort fee".   Pros would be that the pool area was beautiful,  the lake was relaxing,  the grounds were clean and well maintained, they have an amazing playground and offer lots of kid friendly events.   The cons were the pool was so packed it was hard to enjoy,  they allowed beer and alcoholic beverages in the pool area,  the sites were oddly laid out,  no shade or mature trees,  front staff was very rude,  they charge additional fees for wifi &amp; cable,  they have the longest list of rules to sign and initial and the campers were not overly nice.    We had an issue with our debit card as well.  They require you keep a card on file even if you pay cash.  We noticed on our visit summary that we had been charged for items we paid cash for.   They refunded the money but weren't apologetic at all.   They ladies at the front desk had pocketed the cash and charged it to our card.   Crooked staff.   We had a good time but paid way to much for what we got.  We wont return here.

Resort Camping

This campground has a pool, WiFi, gorgeous lake, a trail around the lake, nice level sites, and they pick up your garbage. It's absolutely picture perfect. The only thing that could make it more idyllic would be to have some horses

Beautiful campground. Lots of amenities

We tent camped. There are two tent sites on separate docks over looking the lake. There are small gators in the pond and catch and release fishing. There is a pool and a hot tub at the club house as well as lots of games. It rained a bit while we were there and still had such a great time. Even the teen kids loved it. Will definitely go again.

So much fun

This place has it all. Great staff and lots of things to do. We stayed here Thanksgiving weekend 2019. They provided thanksgiving dinner we just had to bring a side dish. This park is still new and adding more amenities daily. Spacious sites and the they keep the park clean. We will be back!

Very nice place !!

This is a beautiful campground, well maintained with a great pool and amenities. Conveniently located to downtown Savannah and other amenities.  There are only two tent sites, and they are in docks. Tethering your tent is tricky since you can’t hammer it in, bit it wasn’t windy when I stayed so it was fine. Clean restrooms within walking distance from tents, showers are good but need to drive there. Quiet other than the occasional plane from nearby military facility. 

Lovely campground

This is the nicest camp ground I have ever stayed at. Every thing about Creekfire Motor Ranch is elegance, from the beautiful coastal heritage style architecture to the tree lined entrance.
 The atmosphere is tranquil and I don't think I have found a campground safer for families and children of all ages ever.
 Children reeled in fish back to back and everyone here is looking out for their neighbor.
 Very limited tent camping but if you can get a tent spot, it's on a dock over the water.
 I just woke about 30 minutes ago and can say, I slept like a baby. This camp has a restraunt, water park with more being added, and great live music last night on Sat night.
 They deliver firewood if you call and request.
 

Unique camping experience. 

We will definitely be back! The little cabins are adorable and #2 #3 sleep 8. They are putting in a kiddy pool and lazy river with a large outdoor fire pit. The on-site restaurant on the lake has outdoor seating but currently only open Thurs/Fri/Sat/Sun. So we missed it only being here Monday and Tuesday. Great little store. I think as more people use it more items will be stocked. We are hitting the beautiful pool shortly! We had a pull thru lake view site. They also have “buddy” sites if you come with friends.

Love this Hidden Gem!

Gorgeous. Great layout. Tons of amenities. Slam dunk for a family with kids. Very much a “resort.” Pool, basketball courts, restaurant, gym, spa, market, gorgeous lake, etc. Five stars in that regard.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Our only disappointment was the individual sites. We would rate them 3.5-4 stars max. They are level with full hookups, but very narrow and not much space for hanging out. Not very well landscaped or manicured like one would expect given the price and the overall beautiful aesthetic of the property. Our site was full of ants/ant piles, and sitting outside without being bitten was impossible.

Amenities out the wazoo

This place is huge!  Lots of sites.  Well laid out design.  Big pool and lots to do.  They have a restaurant there that is right in the lake.  Food was great!  We had a pull through full hookup site in the new section of the park.  Pretty level, nice fire pit, and as much room as you’d expect in a park this size.  Kids loved the playground and pool.  Staff was nice, and it was about 20 minutes to downtown Savannah but close to plenty of restaurants and shopping.  As mentioned before (and normal with new parks) there is no shade.  Also the WiFi and cable were non existent.  We were told on the phone the WiFi was “spotty” and then when we got there we were told it had been knocked out by a lightening storm (as well as the cable too)...  but on the internet it says you have to ask for a direct tv box and they are first come first serve.  I did ask about it and they said they didn’t use that anymore.  Obviously it wasn’t a deal breaker to us, but for the price you pay you should at least have dependable WiFi, and it didn’t work at all.  There was also construction going on while we were there, but we left during the biggest part of the day while they were working.  Good experience but just some little details that could be improved on for sure and at least having the amenities that are advertised or offering a discount when you know they aren’t working.

Large Resort Good Location 

Close enough to Savanna to be convenient but far enough out to be quiet.

First, the check in process was like checking into a nice hotel. Front desk was courteous and prepared. They had guide ready to escort us to our spot. 

Our back-in site was level and easy to get into.  They could use a few more trees, but everything was manicured and beautiful.

The facilities make this place nearly a destination resort in itself. Beautiful pool and hot tub. Lazy lagoon and kids water park we being filled while we were there. Pool, darts, ping pong, etc in the common area with TVs surrounded by the nicest shower we had all trip. Didn’t use the laundry but looked clean and nice. 

Best  of this trip

We wanted to stay at Creekfire for a couple reasons: (1) wanted somewhere we haven't been before but not too far from home and (2) I wanted to visit downtown Savannah...Creekfire met both those.  It was an easy 4.5 hour drive, right off the highway and about 15 minutes from diwntown Savannah.  The RV resort has lots of activities: heated pool, hot tub, lazy river (closed while we were there due to the cold), pool tables, ladder ball, ping pong table, outdoor chess, fishing (lake front sites are definitely our favorites), golf cart rental, picnic table and firepit at site and a shuttle to downtown Savannah on certain days.  The staff is super friendly and helpful.  Only a couple cons, but for us not worth taking a star away:  very few trees (I would imagine in summer the heat and bugs would not make for ideal camping), restaurant is only opened Wednesday-Saturday (we were there Saturday to Wednesday).  We will most definitely be back with friends that will be staying in their cabins! 

Lots to do onsite and close to downtown Savannah 

Possibly the nicest campground I’ve ever been to. From the desk staff, the perfect sites, and a full service restaurant this place is the bomb.

This is a great, quiet destination near Savannah with a gated entrance. This is a newer camp so the trees do not yet provide much shade. The is the only negative I can write. The camp is quite large with roomy sites, some on the lake and some not. There is a store, fitness center, business center, pool, lazy river, ice machine, laundry, and more. There is also a clubhouse on the lake that provides dining options and some live entertainment when the weather cooperates. I really like staying here.

They have it all!

Looks like a five star resort. We were passing through so only stayed one night. I plan on coming back next year and staying longer. We had a gravel spot by the pool. The gravel was compacted. However, it was convex (curving) in the middle. We had a hard time leveling and had to readjust more towards the middle of the spot. They have a concierge that takes you to your spot.  A very interesting place.

Beautiful

Pool is awesome! Sites are nice and large, we had a nice concert pad. The bar on-site is great, we had a really fun time with karaoke!

Beautiful RV Resort 

Excellent service. Grounds were immaculate! Newer campground so heated pool and icy cold lazy river were grand!!! Awesome kids splash area and little kid slide and pool! Lots of sports/outdoor games available. B-E-A-U-TIFUL roomy sites! Nice little walking path around the small lake! Small store for essentials and beautiful office to relax on the porch!!! Awesome playground too!

ABSOLUTELY perfect little modern campground! 

This place is a nice resort. Pool is heated, lazy river is fun when its warmer. They pick up your trash and will fill propane for you from your site. Plenty of space for walking. Fishing pond in the back. Cabins available for family visits. And they accept packages.

Great long-term stay

Visited CreekFire in December to visit Savannah.  The facilities were clean and well maintained.  Bathrooms super clean.  Lazy River was closed because it was December.  The pool was supposed to be heated but it was still chilly.  Sites are very close with no privacy.  Tried to eat at the on-site restaurant one evening - the booster seat was broken.  They were out of high chairs and said we had to wait until someone was done - however we were seated at a high top table so my daughter would have been so low and not up near the family.    They wiped down the table with a dirty cloth and it was still soaking wet.  We just could eat there and left.  I was glad to try this place out, but it won’t be in my rotation.

Modern Resort

We camped her 2 nights as we were passing through. It was quiet and everything seemed clean. We didn't eat at the restaurant so I can't comment on that. The Scavenger hut and craft was fun for the kids. It was too cold for us to swim but the pool, lazy river and splash pad looked nice. I will say they are all in separate locations so if you have multiple young kids and they each want to be between the splash and pool or river you could not see them all from one location.

Amazing campground 

This place is awesome.  Swimming pools, kid wave splash pool and a lazy river.  Spots are level and spacious.  Very clean.  Highly recommend. 

Big Rig Friendly

Absolutely love this campground! The sites were well maintained. The have many amenities I clouding a pool, lazy River, kids splash pad and kids pool. They also have tennis/pickle ball courts, a basket ball court, playground, pool table and ping pong tables. There were daily activities offered for both kids and adults. There was also a bar and grill at the pool area and a full restaurant at their lakeside sites. The lake had docks for fishing. They do have onsite golf cart rentals but we rented from an outside company since all of the resorts were booked for the week. It is a large campground so having a cart was very helpful. Without it we would have needed to drive to the lakeside area unless we were really wanting to get some exercise. We can’t wait to go back in the future. The kids loved it.
