Primitive camping

Highly recommend the primitive campsites at cloudland canyon, though does require a .5-1.5 mile hike-in to sites, so be prepared to carry your gear if the closest spots are already taken. Most of the sites are near a small creek, perfect for camping. Sites are more remote, but you can really enjoy your privacy as the sites are situated pretty far from each other. Though, there is one trail haleading in and out so when we were there, lots of day hike folks and other campers would walk on the trail near the sites (some of the primitive sites are farther from the trail and others are next to the trail). Great if you want to get away for the weekend!
