Went with my family for a couple of days. Probably the worst experience we have had camping in sometime. The place is filthy. The bathrooms are horrendousand filthy I don't know who cleans them but they do a poor job. On top of that you've got tons of flies Where the garbage dumpsters are. On top…

Great Stay!!

The staff was super helpful and very eager to make sure we had a great stay! The grounds are simply amazing! While on a zoom call from a picnic bench by the River a participant said “Looks like you guys are in Hawaii or paradise somewhere”.

Love This Park

Came back a second time with a new moon. No buggy rides because of Covid. Stayed in horse camo loop. Bathrooms clean. Lots of wildlife. Huge storm blew in and had to leave early.

The campsites are not spread out at all and the campground is nowhere near any types of wilderness. It is pretty much an RV park on the outskirts of town. The campground was packed!!

Great resort campground

The sites are very spacious! The trees were planted in December 2020, so there’s not much shade at this point. Plenty of things to do. Pizza restaurant, ice cream shop, coffee shop, store for some essentials, salon, spa, pool table, ping pong table, pickle ball, basketball, shuffleboard, tiki bar,…

Simple and well maintained

Our visit was relaxing and enjoyable. We visited in July and the shade from all the trees around our site helped keep the heat tolerable. The camp site’s aren’t dispersed and a little close together but we didn’t have any immediate neighbors around us so it was perfect. We stayed on site 008 and…

One of the greats!

This was our first time at Peace river Campground and we absolutely loved it. We are already planning the next visit. Our spot 187 was fantastic. Right up front and next to the food trucks. Everyone in the store was so polite. The trails were pretty great too. Solid 10 from us!

Fisheating Creek

A very beautiful place to see natural Florida. Lots of camping spots for both tents and RV's. They even have a floating cabin. Good facilities, great staff, hiking, biking and swimming. Canoe and kayak rentals or bring your own. There are different paddling trips to choose from. I always enjoy…

Enjoyed our stay

This was our second Thousand Trails stay. Unlike The Oaks at Point South you have to find your own spot. It's a little unnerving. Fortunately, we had a few to choose from as soon as we arrived. There are a few paved roads but others are not. It had just rained a lot due to Hurricane Eta and there…

Secluded and well maintained

This is reclaimed land from an old phosphate mine.

The mine was closed 20 years ago and the land was reclaimed and turned into a beautified park and campground. The trees have had time to mature. There are four lakes, campsites are located on one of the bigger lakes. Like all parks some site are…
