Office staff were very helpful and WiFi worked great. Also short drive to the beach. Bath house needs lots of work but is functional. Campground has small mobile home lot at back of property.
Stumbled upon this campsite through the app and after reading the reviews figured I better check it out. You will not be disappointed! It’s tucked away surrounding by lake. Extremely quiet! Woke up early to see the sunrise and it was the icing on the cake :) even witnessed a gator swimming! The…
This is one of the most amazing little spots. The true forgotten coast. From the bay to the Gulf of Mexico beautiful scenery, lots of nature, and some of the most breathtaking sunsets you can catch. Unfortunately hurricane Michael devastated this area causing the camping site of the park to…

It was everything their web site says. Easy in and out. Water pressure was a little low. The wifi was useable but if you go for the paid upgrade ($1.50 a day) be aware it is apparently for only one device. That not stated upfront.
I only got to spend a night here but my family enjoyed it. Nice little beach and great peer for fishing. Friendly campers in that area. Would stay again in a heartbeat.
It's the views that bring you to the Ho Hum RV Park. I had a waterfront site and thoroughly enjoyed letting the dogs run on the beach. At the end of the fishing pier you can see the crabs clinging to the support poles.
Great Gulf views.

We booked a night last minute while driving through the state. The campground was quaint & VERY well maintained grounds. The sites were nice & not washed out. Bathrooms were large & have covid guidelines in place. We stayed in waterfront site #7. The only reason I would drop a star…
Nearly every spot is lake view. The keepers and residents are all very polite. They have a well kept womens restroom and shower. And hook ups at every station.
The price and luxuries you have for the price is amazing. Thank you!
Great trails in the mountains of Florida. Campsites are narrow but long we had enough space to set our screen room up behind camper. Hurricane michael did extensive damage to the area. Trees and shrubs are growing back. Not much shrubbery between sites. Two super cool yurts for rent and a cabin.…

Great views, tight spaces, super clean, not recommended for kids for long stays.
We really enjoyed our short stay! The campground was affordable, esp when you consider the lovely water views. Each spot is designated clearly, is level, and has its own lake vista. It’s a small place but perfect for a night or two for a peaceful retreat. They have both pull through and back in…

Did some car camping here in March and it was already hot and full of mosquitos. The sites are huge and far from each other. Big dock with heavy day (and evening and early morning) use from serious fisherman.
Only 1 other site was occupied.
Nice park. All pull through sites except for waterfront. Pier to fish from. Right on the Gulf. Facilities are clean.
There’s a hiking loop called the Great Challenge. It’s so difficult, meandering up and down in elevation for 9 miles, that you may give up. Camping is grand— so much wildlife. If you’re lucky you may be able to see a panther or an indigo snake. The campgrounds used to be lush but Hurricane Irma…

Most of the park, including camping, is currently closed due to damage from Hurricane Michael. The boat ramp and day use area are open. We spend the day swimming, looking for wildlife and enjoying the sun.
Fish, sea urchins, starfish, deer, and birds were all in the park and viewable during…
