We have stayed here many times, always try to get beachside, but BOTH areas are nice, immaculate, and a taste of real Florida.
Nice campground and area....
This is a Mom and Pop campground. A cute Asian couple own the park and are VERY friendly. They helped get us backed in to our site. The sites are very close to each other. There are a lot of older camping rigs. Most are permanently there. There is WiFi, but it is very weak. The view of the St.…

I have been here for a while. As a visitor and as a resident. I truly enjoy it here. It has undergone some changes for the better.
Great amenities here and the scenery is absolutely beautiful! Several bike and walking trails that we enjoyed. Also have bikes and kayaks that you can rent. We spotted a couple gators on our kayak trip. The reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 is bc the spaces are pretty tight. Also, the bathrooms are…
The campground is beautiful. There is a nature trail, as well as kayaking and canoeing. It is a wonderful spot for camping. There are nice places to park and shade within where you camp. The best thing is that all the park rangers are very courteous and helpful throughout the whole stay. They made…
Spacious sites with paved parking, grass, and shade. Can’t ask for much more! Facilities were clean, the staff was friendly, and the spring was incredible. We enjoyed the walk but some may want to bring a bike and drive to the spring area. We had a great stay and will definitely be back.

We camped Friday to Sunday of Memorial Day Weekend and had a good time. The biting yellow flies can be bad at times, so prepare for that. The campground was clean, the other campers are friendly and the bathrooms are well-maintained. The campsites are really great, secluded, green, and great to…

Great little hidden gem campground. Clean with electric, water and bathrooms. Only 30 sites, many with lots of trees and shade.

We’ve been here a couple of times now and really enjoy these campgrounds. There’s plenty of foliage so you may know you have camp neighbors but you can’t see what everyone is doing. The restrooms are very clean and the lake is beautiful around sunset 😍. Most certainly will camp here again.
We went in March and it got pretty chilly at night, but the fire pit helped us stay warm. The portapotty was one of the nicer composting variety, but the campground were primitive otherwise. The sites are all on one loop, but there are trees and bushes separating each one for some privacy.
I went on a weeknight in May and was one of 3 other campers. The area was very clean with little mosquito activity, but the yellow flies were ferocious. I was able to go down to the springs right when they opened and was the only one there, so I got to see a family of otters! The campgrounds felt…
Stayed there 4 nights, drove to Amelia island about 30 min away.
This place felt like we escaped to another land. My kids called it Jurassic Park.
Overall this place was one of our favorites. Most sites offer plenty of space although some can be angled and need to be leveled up with levelers even though it's on concrete. I love having open space behind most sites. If you do your research you can find amazing sites. Not to mention all are full…
