Crystal Springs and Dark Rivers Crystal Springs and Dark Rivers. Camp under the trees on the northern half of our developing 10 ac permaculture, sustainable living family farm off a limerock road. Be off the beaten path, but only minutes away from several inputs for kayaking or canoeing on the Suwannee and Sante Fe Rivers and tubing down the Ichetucknee Springs River run. A peaceful setting to unwind after a day of sightseeing Florida historic attractions & towns including the mermaids of Weeki Wachee, manatee viewing at Homosassa Springs, St. Augustine, Monticello, Micanopy & Gainesville. Both coasts' white sand beaches are an easy drive. All Orlando attractions such as Disney World, Universal Studios and SeaWorld are about 2.5 hours drive, as well as Tampa's Busch Gardens or Daytona's World Famous Beach. A pleasant stopover on your drive down to Miami, the Everglades or the Florida Keys. Or just watch the deer as they cross our moonlit meadow under bright stars.
