We were so fortunate to find Stonewall Lodge and rv Resort. Full hook ups, if that’s what you would like. Very friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Beautiful nature drives. We can’t say enough kind words about this lodge and campground.
Stayed one night. Staff was friendly, informative and helpful. Enjoyed the camp ground which was well maintained and I will definitely stay again when in the area.
The Raton KOA is conveniently located off I-25 in Raton, NM. The campground offers of a mixture of back-in and pull through sites that are a mix of mostly live gravel and dirt. Most sites have 20/30 amp service, water, and septic hookups, although less expensive sites with fewer amenities are also…

Lake Alice campground is really close to a paved road where people drive too fast and the sites are really close together. They are not actually on Lake Alice. I enjoyed the lake and the hiking but opted out of staying in my reserved site.
Staff was super friendly with two 9 month Golden Retriever puppies. Suggested the best campsite for availability overlooking the mountain. Beautiful sunset. Didn't use faculties but looks clean (lauder, shower, bathroom).
Verizon 6.5 down / 1.6 up.
Know that you'll lose some reception on the…

We have recommended this campground to many friends across the years. It used to be our favorite stop on our way to Colorado. It is still a beautiful location, but our most recent experience was not up to what it has been in the past. I will suppose that Covid-19 has something to do with that. We…
I had the pleasure of staying several nights at Raton Pass Camp & Cafe, I wasn't disappointed at all! The views are spectacular, with a panoramic landscape! Close to town but far away to see some stars of the eve.
This campground is NOT accessible by vehicle if the road is wet.. There are four designated sites, three overlook the canyon and one is intended for those with horses. There is a vault toilet. This campground is at the Picket Wire Canyonlands trailhead, which boasts the largest dinosaur track site…

A large campground at the foot of the southern San Isabel mountain range. When you first drive in there are secluded tent spots, then small cabins. There are many spots all around the lake, with large tenter sites on the opposite bank of the lake. We set up amongst the trees in a relatively open…

This little hidden gem is a great way to spend your day. Although the site closes at dusk, there is plenty of time in the day to squeeze the juice out of this little alpine oasis. Fishing is allowed from shore, dock, boat or ice fishing during the winter months. Parking is easily accessible and…
Didn’t stay here but visited it while in the area to review and also scout for next trip to the area. Not sure how the listing can state fresh water when there isn’t any. This is a very basic and primitive campground so don’t expect too much.
This lake is in an absolutely beautiful part of the country. The campsites are all situated around the lake and each has a great lake view. Fishing is good as well. Close to a small convenience store and cafe so everything you need is near.
We reserved a spot at Lake Alice for three nights. Some reviews of the campground talk about the road being close. Sites 15 and 16 are great. Site 13 and 14 are ON THE ROAD and the accessible site near the bathroom is literally a couple of feet away so beware! We were in site 16 and tucked away…
After a long drive from south Texas, this was my first visit to Sugarite Canyon and it definitely exceeded my expectations! The staff was friendly and helpful and the amenities were accommodating. The area is absolutely beautiful. This little park has something for everyone. Highland trails, lakes…

No access to electric or water. Road to camp is rough. Beautiful scenery. Short drive to Chucara and Stonewall.
