A basic family style campground directly on the Yampa River within city limits of Steamboat Springs. Tent sites, RV sites, tent cabins and full fledged cabins. We had a tent site right on the river. Miniature golf. Various bikes to rent. This was the priciest camp site on our cross country trip.…

A fun snowshoe hike up to Ruby Jewel Yurt. This yurt is secluded in the trees and about a 3-6 hour hike up from the road when it is closed in the winter. This yurt comes with wood, wood stove, kitchenware, water pot for boiling, beds, and best of all a yurt journal (with tons of interesting…
This is a little bit of a hike in and you should know your route before you go to this location. Roads may be closed due to snow but that's part of the fun of getting there! This yurt is located in dense woods and very secluded. Jewel Lake is just over 2 miles away from this yurt. The lake is…
Easy hike up to Dancing Moose Yurt. This yurt would be good for a family, cross-country skiing, and snowshoeing. The yurt has pots & pans, kitchenware, woodstove, firewood, axe, table and chairs, mattresses, tp, paper towels, and matches.
You will have to hike in your own food and bring…
We stayed here for 3 nights with our 23ft motorhome. It is a easy accessible spacious campground that is well maintained. The host is very friendly and helpful.
Not a very good campground. Located on a slope. RR are very old and dirty. Staff and Manager or very unfriendly.
There are several camping spots immediately after you turn off of the main highway that are down by the river. The area had many people already camping there, so we drove about 2 miles up the rough gravel road. We decided to take the first spot we saw, since we were only going to be there for…
Very pretty camping & a lot of it along the road. There’s a lake & a cute lil creek that runs off from it, that makes wonderful sound atmosphere but does mean bugs. The road is very easy going, made it out in my Prius with no problems. The area is extremely fire damaged in places &…

We where able to grap a spot on a overlook, with a great view. If working had excellent Verizon cell service. The site was unleveled but not too bad for a van with rocks and firewood under wheels. Cool nights.
Beautiful setting on the mountains. No hookups but that is to be expected in a National park. Deer roam throughout the campground. Animals can be spotted nearby in the valley.
We stayed here one night. Spots were ok. Pool and hot tub were closed in July. They didn’t say why. Lots of rules including 7/12 mph speed limit.
The staff is very friendly! Estes Park is beautiful and this campground has wonderful views of the mountains.
Amenities include: Organized activities S’mores Karaoke Games(including board & wii) All you can eat pancake breakfast Playground CLEAN bathrooms
Nice and quiet right along the river. Excellent hiking in the area. Very small fish but fun to catch and release. I will return.
Lake was full, not low like many reservoirs. Campsites were clean but rvs just parked on road next to tables. Some sites had covered tables. It seemed to be windy every afternoon. Close to Kremmling for supplies and shopping.
We stayed at Arnica campsite in Sunrise Vista. 3 tents and a car. Lots of access to restrooms & potable water. Lake & shower access is about a mile away drive or 1/2 mile walk on a trail. The park had a lot of events and we did a nocturnal night hike and a star party the next. 10/10
