Excellent amenities and staff

Incredibly friendly staff, great store with camping necessities and fun swag. Dog park was large enough with a shaded tree and benches. Pickle ball, movie night, pool, playground ect included. Almost every space was filled but it was quiet because the activities are spread nicely away from where we…

Worsts place we have stayed in a lot of traveling.

All the decent campgrounds were full. We needed a place to dump and fill water. WiFi is terrible and cell service is on extended network. It’s by the river but you can’t see for all the weeds.

Peaceful and comfortable

This RV campground is beautiful and peaceful. The river flows next to the grounds and the trees provide lovely shade. The campground is super clean and well maintained. The hosts, Bill and Julia, are friendly and welcoming. The other campers follow the rules and are friendly too. Lots of folks who…

Colorado Atlantis

The campground is really just a parking lot overlooking the lake. The view is very nice though and so is the reliable breeze. Don’t bank on the showers working, they were not in-op when we visited.

Perfect Dispersed Camping Spot

We had this place all to ourselves over Memorial Day Weekend. It was lovely and quiet with only a few cars passing by. You can walk down to the river (a little treacherous but definitely doable!) and it’s a short drive away from a lot of neat hikes. It’s also not too far from town. 10/10 would…

Nice, quiet, widely spaced sites, but lake almost nonexistent

We stayed in Blanco CG site 52 for 6 days in a 36’ Class A with a Cherokee Trailhawk tow. The park has gone to great lengths to make the sites level and most looked like they were. Ours was very level and I almost didn’t need to level at all. All of the sites are spacious and quite widely spaced.…

Good for the price

We stayed for one night at one of the double priced sites above the lake. The sites are spaced far enough from each other, so it is quiet even when the campground is full. Firewood is available for $7 per bundle. There were small flies but they did not bite (the lake is being refilled which…

Bare minimums but good location

This is a small area at the fairgrounds that has space for 6 RVs. All of the sites are back in with 30 amp power and a shared water connection. There are no sewer connections but there are several dump stations in town. There are no showers or restrooms. The sites are gravel and pretty level. Our…

Willow Creek site 12

This was a nice site. We felt far enough away from everyone. Bathrooms were closed for the winter and don’t open until May 15 yearly. There were not a lot of hammock trees (mostly cedar) but we did find a good spot. The site was clean and well shaded. We had 1-2 bars of cell service (Verizon).

The quieter side of Navajo Lake

The quieter side of Navajo Lake State Park, this is a nice, clean campground with pull through and tent sites (elec and non) close to Sims marina. Nothing spectacular and a bit remote, so not a place I would seek out necessarily. Keep in mind that this requires a little more driving to get to, so…
