This small campground is located at Gunnison National Forest along Taylor river. The area is full of pine and aspen trees. The camp’s care taker was excellent. Clean grounds and bathrooms. If you stay here, get campsites 7-11, so you can access the new bathrooms which are spotless. From here you can fish all over the river or at the lake, rent a boat at the lake or drive to Tin Cup Which is also an interesting mining town on your way to Mirror lake. Also, you are 20 minutes from Almont, where you can do rafting.
