We camped here during the summer. It’s a great location for water sports, as the entire reservoir spreads out in front of you. Unfortunately there is very little shade, and we roasted. There were many RV’s here as well, which probably was ok for them, but annoying hearing generators running for AC. Would recommend spring or fall, unless all you plan to do is play on the water.
