🌲🐸 If you’re reading this review, do your part to keep this lake pristine and quiet.
Toad Lake is a pristine mountain lake accessible only via a long, rough, and rocky single lane dirt road (Toad Lake Road 40N64). Take this road only is you have a 4x4 or AWD vehicle with suitable clearance and…

Excellent after hour Service. Very clean rv park
Sites are spread out, very clean in a nice forest. Chipmunks are cute and respectful. Very beautiful campground
The views of the lake were amazing coming down the dirt road to the campground. We came here expecting to see some clear waters and enjoy a quiet camp. Unfortunately this was not the case, the water was brown (which we didn’t mind) this didn’t stop us from fishing too.
But during our stay we got…
Campground is big and right next to gurney falls
Probably the best dispersed site in Shasta-Trinity.
Camped here during the week in a RTT. About 15% capacity mid week. The lake level is very low. Quite a walk down to the water from the camp sites. $24 per night +$10 for extra vehicles. No firewood for sale at the campground so plan ahead. Decent bathrooms. No complaints! Beautiful views.
They have about everything thing you need but the loop we stayed in was a little tight but then again we have a 41ft 5th wheel.
The Lake was beautiful, the facilities were great. Fun for the whole family. With the canoeing, boating, swimming and the water bounce house. There is also the movies for kids w/ice cream.
Beautiful setting, nice sites, friendly staff, and clean bathrooms. Only downside was the highway noise.
We spent one night a Cattle Camp and enjoyed the stopover. The campground was empty compared to Fowler’s just down the road. Lots of space between sites, plenty of shade, and rather level. You can access the McCloud River trail from Camp which gave us the chance to stretch our legs and wear out…
This was a great campground, managed by PG&E. It's pretty small, which made it much more quiet than other campgrounds. Our site was right on the river, so we had the peaceful sounds of rushing water to hear. The site (3) was also pretty decent size, and in my opinion the best site.
Camped here twice, and have plans to go again. Great kayaking, easy launch and enjoy the hiking trail around the lake. My wife enjoyed the ice cream too.
Hidden out of the way little gem. The campground has only eight sites. The restrooms are clean and showers are available at a neighboring campground. Right now the lake is so low you really can’t get to it. But it’s great just to hang out in peace and quiet. Be sure to download directions, hiking…
Beautiful spots down on Trinity lake ... the water is super low right now so muddy beaches but still beautiful area !
