For a boat ramp camping site near town, this place is special. Remote from town but water 360 degrees. You can hear the ocean while looking at the towns across the water. I didn't use the facilities but location is awesome.
Loooooved this campground. There's a meadow area for RVS and a forested area for smaller rvs/vans and tents. Some tent sites have electrical outlets, all tent sites have a spigot. BIG bathrooms with flush toilets, hot coin showers, laundry room. Laundry room has a soap machine AND a change machine.…
Great place to stay. So quite, sites are great, some what level. The red school house was very interesting. The smell of camp fire was wonderful.
The spots are good pull through but when they say quite time is 10pm they take it seriously here. We pretty much couldn't even be out side our trailer without the camp lady that lives there would come out and tell us to be quiet. It was ridiculous. Even during the day she didn't let us have our…
Great RV resort in Jedediah Smith Redwood State Park. Very clean and nice sized RV and Tent sites.
Great location in heart of Jedediah Smith Redwood State Park with easy access to the Smith River. Very clean and medium spacious RV sites. We stayed in the C loop and had our own picnic table and fire ring. Host was able to get two spots next to each other so our two trailers were together. Price…
We just finished a backpacking trip in marble valley and sky high lakes area, both accessible about 5+ miles from the Lovers Camp Trailhead. It was absolutely beautiful! So much to do in that area and such great views. Very well kept trail and the campsites were well maintained. Definitely hope to…
I stayed at Abalone Point. The view was breathtaking, but there was garbage scattered around the site and the bathroom (vault toilet) was filthy and had no toilet paper.
gorgeous camp site with giant trees but the showers are coin fed unfortunately. amazing trail where you can see the ocean from. very cool.

Park is fine, spots are level and fairly easy to get into.. laundromat had a few working machines, grounds kept up..
Originally planned to stay for 4 days but ended up extending the trip a few extra days. Management was extremely helpful, polite, and accommodating. We were lucky to have a beautiful and secluded site. The campground is half a mile away from Jedediah State Park and the Smith River. 15 minutes from…
We rented an RV and discovered we couldn’t fit down the narrow roads to the campsite we planned for. Praying for plan B we drove back to this RV park we saw from the road. Thankfully they had space for us. We learned about the roaming Elk herd that passed right through the camp. The camp host made…

I didn't expect there will be actual elk there. I woke up to bunch of elk in front of my tent! Beautiful hikes, nice camp host and camp spots are in nice wooded area, some are by the creek, lots of privacy.
