One of several RV parks to make it through the fire of 2020

This park is one of several that came through the fire.   Years ago HWY 99 was dotted with RV stopping places from Ashland tp Medford.  We stopped in to empty our tanks.  The desk staff were friendly and helpful.   For 8 bucks we were able to dump, rinse and fill up our fresh water (Two different…

Not dispersed!

We didn't actually stay here. We just want people who filter the app for dispersed camping to know that this is NOT dispersed.

Cheap campground near shasta

There are 14 camp grounds. About 7/8 have bear bins. There is no water right now because the spring/well is dried up)-: there are fire rings on about 1/2 the camp cites. Bathrooms are close but, kinda gross. Nice shade and trees to slack line. No camp host so but fire wood and in town. Very close…

Nice camp ground on water

Walking distance to the water. Lots of obsidian with just a short walk. Very beautiful and secluded. Not many people and camp spots are located very far apart. Highly recommend. Nice star viewing.

Really Lost

The location of this RV Park was beautiful, but was extremely crowded and hard to get around on RV. They lacked customer service ask around, and even though wifi offered was offered as a service that we never were able to connect to. Called the owners on the after hours phone line as directed…

Typical KOA journey.

Nice staff, nice bathrooms, clean park. We're in the area for work and this is a nice place to stay.

Friendly, fast service. Nice park!

Greg took care of us and was friendly and personable. There’s a convenience store and the little town is super close and convenient. Nothing fancy schmancy, but roomy and woodsy, and convenient for our drive down California. :) highly recommend!

Very Nice Folks

Nice place, clean, large areas to maneuver into your spot. Great place. If there is one issue its tge .25 cents for an 8 minute shower. Not that the cost is an issue, its that it takes two minutes for the water to heat up. Not an issue for an old Army guy like me but could be for you. But in the…

Great campsites, horrific bathrooms

We stayed for a week and our campsite was great. Lots of trees for shade, solid fire ring, polite staff. This is a great location for exploring the Mount Shasta area. However, KOA prides itself as a brand who delivers clean bathrooms and these were horrific. Each time was an horrifying adventure…

Berry Nice

I generally don't like KOA campgrounds because they feel like small cities. This KOA is different in that even though it has all the amenities and comforts of home it still is removed enough from the hussle and bussles of the city.

Nice size campsites and well maintained facilities.

Great black…

Relaxing campground with lake views and wildlife

I picked a spot right on the lake where I chose a comfy log to sit and enjoy a book. There is lots of wildlife around the lake; dusk coaxed several deer out to the water, lots of birds throughout the day, and the sound of frogs at night.

This campground has bathrooms and showers, though the…

Nice campground and lake

Peaceful. Love watching the water birds. Lots of trees. Even nice in the winter. Clean bathrooms and good hiking.

McBride Springs Campground

When I'm up in Mt. Shasta this is where I camp. It's easy for both vanlife and tent camping as well as car camping.

I hesitate to tell anyone about this place because it's one of the less expensive campgrounds in the state, has a group camp, and the sites are far enough apart to offer some…

Lovely Lake

We were down in Southern Oregon for the Caves.

We stayed in the Heron loop which was the smallest and most primitive, It was wonderful and we had the whole south of the lake to ourselves. Firewood here is not bundled and since it was off season we got a huge amount for$5. The hosts were terrific.…
