Beautiful Spot

My wife and I stayed here before moving on to Lassen Volcanic NP. We stayed here on a Monday night (it was our honeymoon) so we were the only ones here. There was a really cool, fast flowing creek running through the campsite. Just a gorgeous spot in the forest with toilets if you need them.

In Sight of the Lake

One of several campgrounds at Eagle Lake. We like this one because there are several spots close to the water and in the sun. In the heat of the summer there are plenty of spots deep under the thick pine trees that shade the area. In the shoulder seasons it's nice to camp in a sunny spot or at…

Peaceful countryside

We booked a stay here to unwind and see part of CA we had never explored. Pulled in and the owner himself came out to greet us with our welcome packet, never had to get out of the truck! The campground has a natural beauty. Marked trails to walk, often in shade. Owners are actively making…

Quiet Campground BEFORE Trout Season

We stayed here for 4 nights and loved it. The lake is appropriately named as we saw bald eagles daily. We opted for the loop with water/electric hookups knowing there was easy access to a dump station across from the entrance to the campground. While we loved our site, it was probably the least…

Great for passing through

Stopped here on our way to and from Oregon. Easy pull through sites, full hookups. Friendly staff and they make it easy if you come late and leave early as we did.

Beautiful Lake!

This is one of three campgrounds on Antelope Lake near Susanville CA. Several of the sites are near the lake. All sites are well shaded with fir and pine trees. Great fishing and wildlife watching. Enjoy all water sports and beautiful lake. Reservations are required for most sites but a few are…

Spotless RV site and hosts are super friendly

Family owned business seems to be ran by 3 generations. I (think) met the grandson riding the golf cart about to start his chores. The daughter of the owner came up to me asking if I needed help (which I did in order to pay) and called her father Arnie who was making his driveway spotless with his…

Beautiful Blue Lake

Lots of sites and plenty of shade. Located above the lake within easy walking distance. Very well cared for with camp hosts present and ready to enforce rules. It is a great base camp for exploring the lake area or the Warner Mountains.

Good for a night or two - can be muddy in Spring

The main road to Bogard Campground had too much snow for us to be able to pass through, so we found this small clearing tucked away off of Forest Route 32N09 in Lassen Nat’l Forest to stay overnight instead.

It’s a nice open flat-ish space, big enough for several rigs as well as big enough to…

Officially this is listed as an equestrian campground. We were there during the off season so no one else was around. The campground was quiet and peaceful. Website stated that fees are not collected at this time. There are only 6 sites here and it is a compact little campground. The sites are a…

Nice Campground Across the Hwy 395 from Honey Lake near Milford CA

I stopped here in late April 2020 heading back north from AZ. It was 113 degrees when I left AZ and I was so happy that my first night at this park with cooler breezes my trailer finally cooled down inside to under 80 degrees.  I planned to stay just overnight but I liked the park so much I stayed…

Dannelle and Ben were incredibly helpful during the reservation and check…
