These 20 cabins are the first new accommodations in Lassen Volcanic National Park since 1972, and are available in three models: 2 Room, 1 Room, and Bunkhouse. They are within walking distance of Manzanita Lake, a popular catch & release fishing and family destination, and offer a view of 10,457-foot Lassen Peak, the largest volcano in the park.The cabins are located one mile south of the park entrance, perched at an elevation of 5,890 feet and adjacent to a 179-site campground. The Loomis Museum, Loomis Ranger Station and popular hiking trails are nearby. Educational programs are presented at the museum and amphitheater within the campground.______ Groceries, supplies, gifts, gasoline, laundromat and hot showers are located at the nearby Manzanita Lake Camper Store. Manzanita Lake is popular with fly fishermen for its trout; however, the area does maintain a catch-and-release policy and requires the use of artificial lures and single barb-less hooks only. Non-motorized boating is permitted and kayak rentals are nearby.The park boasts more than 150 miles of hiking trails, a variety of which can be accessed from the campground, including family-friendly hikes as well as those for more experienced hikers. Manzanita Lake is also a favorite spot for birders.
There are a variety of cabin types available, including a one-room cabin that sleeps three, a two-room cabin that sleeps six, and a one-room bunkhouse that sleeps up to eight people. Each cabin has a double bed and/or bunk beds with a three inch firm mattress, lockable door, picnic table, fire ring and a bear-proof food storage locker. These are rustic cabins with no bedding or linens provided, so please bring your own. The one-room and two-room cabins also have a table and chairs.____ Please note that the one-room cabin has a double bed that sleeps two, with a third person on the floor in a sleeping bag, Restrooms, showers, a laundromat and a camper store with souvenirs, food, camping supplies and fuel are located within a short walk from the cabins. It contains 300 active volcanic domes and many hydrothermal features, such as mud pots and steam vents. Lassen Peak is the southernmost active volcano in the Cascades and the second most recent volcano to erupt in the lower-48 of the United States before Mount St. Helens.Lassen Volcanic National Park boasts over 700 species of flowering plants and 250 native species including birds, mammals, reptiles and fish. The park is at the junction of the Cascade Range, the Sierra Nevada mountains and the Great Basin, thus providing many unique habitats. The Manzanita Lake Camping Cabins lie within a ponderosa pine forest.__

Lakeshore East sits along the shore of the Sacramento Arm of Shasta Lake. The facility is partially shaded by oak and pine and provides some privacy between sites with an undergrowth of grass and raspberry bushes. Lakeshore East is easily accessible from I-5 and offers direct access to the lake from a number of sites. Walk-ins are accepted year-round.
Both the Antlers and Sugar Loaf public boat ramps are nearby. Antlers is approximately 2 miles from the campground. Power and non-motorized boating, fishing and waterskiing are all popular pastimes. Visitors may be able to informally moor their boats at the campground. Anglers can fish for trout, catfish, Chinook salmon, crappie, bluegill, white sturgeon, brown bullhead and bass.
Each site has a picnic table, raised fire ring and paved parking spur. Two yurts, which are sturdy, weather-proof shelters, are available for rent year-round. The campground has sites that can accommodate tents as well as trailers, although there are no electrical hookups or dump stations for trailers.Standard single sites can accommodate up to 8 people and an unlimited number of tents; double sites can accommodate up to 16 people and an unlimited number of tents.Drinking water and flush toilets are provided, including flush toilets that meet current accessibility standards.
Shasta-Trinity is the largest national forest in California with a diverse landscape encompassing five wilderness areas, hundreds of mountain lakes and 6,278 miles of streams and rivers. Lake Shasta sits at an elevation of 1,067 feet, with 365 miles of shoreline punctuated by steep mountains blanketed in manzanita and evergreens. A snow-capped Mount Shasta, the second-tallest mountain in the Cascade Range, looms in the distance.
Lake Shasta Caverns are located on the McCloud Arm of Shasta Lake in an area known as the Grey Rocks. Tours are given daily at this privately owned facility.

We are Hypnotherapists, Spiritual healers and own 20 majestic acres in McCloud, Ca with spectacular Mount Shasta views. We host CE5 events, Drum/Meditation Circles and Spirit Photography. We will let all guests that book know what events we are holding beforehand. I start with this, hoping to attract LikeMinds, Spiritual Wanders and Nature lovers. We just hosted Reuben Langdon and Bill Homann and his Mitchell- Hedges crystal skull for a new Tv Docu Series on Gaia Tv, this place holds special energy.
We are 6 miles to McCloud reservoir, 5 mins to town, 15 mins to McCloud Falls, and 20 mins to Mount Shasta. We have Kayaks available, ask for more info.
The Listing: We offer a 20ft Dome made by Pacific Domes located near our year-round creek. The Dome is private and has a composting Nature Head toilet outside near the Dome, for privacy. The outdoor shower is located up near the main house but tucked away in the forest for privacy. Guests in the dome have the restroom and shower to themselves. Please be mindful of our neighbors as you drive onto Circle Seven Rd, the speed limit is 10mph and we really honor our neighbors.
The Dome has electric, a beautiful chandelier with a Queen pillowtop mattress, super soft and cozy linens, Kitchen bar that includes a French Press, Hot water Kettle and Decanter with the healing Shasta waters. Two bedside lamps have usb chargers, a hammock (feel free to move hammock outside, too) a coat rack to place your shoes. (please remove shoes upon entering)
NO Wi-Fi, NO tv but you may choose to bring your iPad or phone for enjoyment, as cell service works well. We have Att and it's all we use for internet. No cooktop, or microwave so plan to eat out during your stay. I will let you know about all the great spots around to dine at, and also let you know the sacred spots and adventures. Corey, my other half, gives tours so If you have any questions and that means for anything, please text me and ill be happy to assist.
As much as we love kids and pets, we have a firm adult only policy, as we have so much wildlife around, and kids will be awfully tempted to climb the dome.
No fires, no exceptions. No BBQ or cooking. We are really trying to minimize the fire dangers here, as it has gotten really close throughout these last few years.
This place is a great spot for people to be one with nature, on sacred land, that love luxury camping. The compost toilet is super easy to use and not so bad, either! The outdoor shower hot water lasts for 20 mins and takes 20 mins to warm back up. we will provide all homemade organic soaps and towels. Please use natural based products in the shower.
Your privacy is important to us, so other than checking you in and showing you around, you probably wont see me. Know that I'm just a text away! I am also a long time vacation rental host, and grew up in Clayton, Ca on my families recreational park so its deep in my roots. We are planning on adding a massive Greenhouse and other unique units all over to host many like minds.
