This place had everything for camping such as hookups, sewer, 30/50 amp, horrible WiFi, satellite if you can find it…. Skateboard park was nice but the people around weren’t. Watch out for needles because drug use was advertised…. They weren’t worried about getting arrested. The park for children…
Wonderful spot. Sites were kinda small, but we we able to fit 2. -6 person tents and a 4 person in a row. Wasn’t windy when we got there in the morning, but that night the wind started and almost blew everything away. STAKE down, no matter the weather. Water was super warm, but gets icky in the…
We camp at Silver Lake every year. Absolutely beautiful place. Lake is a little walk from the campground. Primitive camping.
On our honeymoon, my wife and I stopped in Lassen Volcanic NP. We were blown away. So gorgeous. This was one of the only campgrounds open at the end of May. Most sites were filled on a Monday night. We did not have a reservation but I would recommend making one. The sites are right next to each…

My wife and I stayed here before moving on to Lassen Volcanic NP. We stayed here on a Monday night (it was our honeymoon) so we were the only ones here. There was a really cool, fast flowing creek running through the campsite. Just a gorgeous spot in the forest with toilets if you need them.
This campground made for a great overnight getaway trip. We went in late may and the weather was perfect for traditional camping activities. The mosquitoes were out in full force so bug spray is a must. There are some nice places to fish that are just a short walk from the campsites and the…

Super nice staff!! They remembered us after only staying here twice which means they take pride in the care for their customers. We love that we can tent camp by the water!
Will definitely recommend to anyone!

Drove around a bit to find a spot to actually get into water. No camping sites found. Wildlife reserve would be better in cooler months.
This was a great campground, managed by PG&E. It's pretty small, which made it much more quiet than other campgrounds. Our site was right on the river, so we had the peaceful sounds of rushing water to hear. The site (3) was also pretty decent size, and in my opinion the best site.
More to the campground than just camping. Fishing in camp and nearby. Friendly staff. Had originally reserved a back in site, but emailed to hopefully get a pull through. Got a quick reply, and all taken care of. Campground is close to other fishing, the Subway Cave (ya gotta go there) Lassen…
This is a former Boy Scout campground. It has a vault toilet. No trash, no faucets. There’s a creek where the road first meets the campground. Potable water. Fire restrictions based on regional signage. I’ve had fires here. Plenty of wood in surrounding area but you can’t buy it, forage only.…
We went Memorial Day weekend, so it was a bit busy, but there were still spaces available.
The area is covered in greenery and it is next to Deer Creek with easy access for trout fishing.
Bathrooms were okay, there were air fresheners inside, but the knob was broken so it wouldn’t shut properly,…

There are only two camp sites reasonably far apart. Nice clean outhouse and potable hand pump water. Picnic tables and trash bins provided as well as a fire pit. The only negative was the Carr fire that burned many trees in the area.
Sparse campground and hot. But good sites and great location
Lots of people.
