Cozy campsites, family vibes. Nice brisk walk to the beach. This is the kind of beach for you if you like long walks and poetry. Doggies love it too.
We had been wanting to check out skyline wilderness Park for quite some time. Thanks to recently purchasing a much more updated tent trailer (our previous one was 27 years old and VERY limited), we decided it was high time to take our “fancy” trailer to the fancy town of Napa.
We weren’t sure what to expect at first. It seemed rather gravelly and parking lot-ish. But, looks can be deceiving. Once we pulled into our spot, we were awed by the beautiful scenery, the gnarled oak trees and the serenity.
The toilet facilities were immaculate (and smelled really good!), the trails made for some excellent walks, the children loved the native garden, the dogs enjoyed frolicking in the dog run, and we loved hearing the wild turkeys gobble at night!
We were only there for two nights so we didn’t really get to check out all that SWP offers but we will definitely keep it on our short list when we’re looking for a getaway to recharge.
My brother and I hit up this spot during our road trip down the coast. Absolutely beautiful, nice staff, great facilities, and super affordable. I will totally go back.
Spent the night at my usual fishing spot and had a great time. Staff is friendly and food is good.
We absolutely enjoyed staying at this RV park. As several reviewer’s; mentioned it’s a great location to explore the area of Bodega Bay surroundings. I would highly recommend hiking the Jenner Headlands Trail, Pomo Canyon Trail and for a less strenuous hike, the Kortum Trail from Shell Beach. In addition to the other comments, we found the bird population to be extraordinaire. Due to C19 the campground is currently closed, once it opens you, are required to reserve a space online. We will definitely stay here again.
We wanted to stop here based on previous reviews but it was unfortunately closed
Agree with previous reviews that it’s best suited for RV camping. Spacious beach, cozy neighbors, consistent traffic, excellent sunset with shockingly beautiful waves
Terrible customer service. Home Depot or Walmart is better
We arrived in our 34 foot motor home only for someone to tell us they only accepted RVs 10 years and newer which is obviously not the case. Gravel and horrible customer service.
Everything you need! Gravel area with plenty of availability and space in the Yolo Country Fairgrounds.
$35 per night. $15 for dump. They even have $200 RV rentals. Drop off boxes, so no need to interact with people if you don’t want to. Nice, average spot in Woodland.
