Quiet and friendly

It’s a nice quiet place away from cell service and nice hikes you can do.

Ghost Mtn

This resort is part of Colorado River Adventures and is private. Very nice park with everything you could need. People in sales are nice too and not pushy. We didn't become members, but really like this resort in Pollock Pines.

Nice little campground and clean lake

We arrived Monday and the campground was almost empty. Every site around us looked reserved but no one was there. The place is small and sites are tight. So if you happen to be there on those days it’s packed I would think you will not have any some sort of privacy at all. But because our timing…

Great option if Yosemite’s full

Great option if your looking for full rv hookups. If you’re tent camping, this might not be the best place. Bathrooms were very unclean but the park gets the job done as a place to sleep while visiting Yosemite. No Verizon or T-Mobile coverage. Wifi available for purchase.

Great dispersed camping area

The view from this area is spectacular. Beautiful sunsets too. It is a pretty open area with lots of room to camp. It is now an abandoned ski resort. The Mormon Emigrant Trail can be accessed from there (East side, going West to Sly Park.) You can hear the Highway a little, but nonetheless very…

Good dispersed camping area

This is a nice camping area, right next to Silver Lake (2.6 miles). It’s off of hwy 88 so you can hear the cars a little. We stayed there for one night. Looked like there were 6+ sites, some of them having fire rings. There were 2 toilets there at two different spots, overall clean. The ranger…

Quiet spot for stargazing

I arrived late on a Thursday night in early June and there were a few RVs occupying the primo sites next to the river, but plenty of open sites further from the river. Many of the RVs had fishing gear...I don't fish, but guessing this might be a good spot to cast a line. There is a mix of tree…

Great campsite

Great big trees and tons of vacancy. Friendly hosts and clean bathrooms. They provide water for putting out fires at each site, which was nice. Almost all the sites are perfect. Plenty to choose from. It’s far enough from the main toad that you barely hear any car noise.

Great sites and proximity to Yosemite

We came here because it had more FCFS sites than others in the area and we weren’t able to get a reservation elsewhere. We had to take one of the double spots (of which there are too many) bc nothing else was available. The place was full the whole time we were there. All sites are beautiful. Nice…

Nice stop over

This was a great stop over as we were passing through. A quiet and small RV park with first come, first serve spaces when you arrive. It is gated. Water and Electricity with a dump station. Spacious enough for us. Easy to get in and out and pretty level. No wifi but AT&T worked fine.

Good stop over

It was a great overnight stop for us on our way to Yosemite. No AT&T cell service. Can get 1 hr of free wifi every 24hrs or pay for more wifi. The park is huge with a lot to do and different camping accommodations for all types. Easy asphalt roads throughout campground in the pines. Sites are…

Spring and fall

It’s best in the spring and fall. It’s nice and quiet and the spots are not too close to each other. Staff is nice and grounds are clean.

Beautiful camp site

The camp grounds are very beautiful and right on the lake. It really doesn’t get more beautiful for a drive up camp site. Down side is the sites are super close together. We brought the kids with us and they played all day we did find a rattlesnake in our site but relocated it and went about our…
