Right on the River

A lovely county campground and picnic area on the Colorado. Dry sites are closest to the water. Super clear restrooms and showers. Dry sites have picnic tables, BBQ grills, but no fire pit. Lots of green grass. Large open grassy area with day picnic sites. RV sites are separated from dry sites.…

Amazing River

We always love to camp here but we’re disappointed at how poorly they maintained the grounds. The grass was all dead. The plus to it though was the river is within walking distance and there is a boat ramp within the campground. You have to setup early to get a spot down at the beach area. Each…

Worth the price

We stayed here because our 5 year old was ready for a pool after 3 days at the lake. What's better than lake shore access with a pool?

Arizona State Beach

Camped here  April 28 and stayed for 2 nights. Was very close to home but wanted to test out the new trailer. It's $30 a night for non beach sites and $40 for beach front. The sites are well separated and there are fire rings, cabana and picnic tables at each site. There is also water and electric…

A nice scenic BLM campground close to the town of Quartzite

This BLM is a great place to camp because of its close proximity to Quartzite. There is a deionized water station just down the road I was there in December 2020 and January of 2021 Covid 19 had a big effect on the crowd but I had a very good time not having to negotiate. The RV vendors tent was…

One of the best State Parks

River Island is one of the nicest state parks I have been to.  All of the facilities are extremely well kept with immaculate bathrooms and an awesome dog park!  There is a boat launch and an area where ever the dogs can cool off in the lake.  In addition to enjoying the lake, there is an MTB Trail…

Not to bad

Not a bad little park. The pool is a little small and not much of a dog park. (There is a dry wash behind the dog park that people use but they don’t pick up after their pets). Handful of long term RV’rs here. The prices are not to bad considering it’s lake Havasu. I’d stay here again!

Free & close to town

It's free, it's close to town. It's also BLM so the are no rules as far as quiet time, generator use, etc. Our neighbors were living there and ran their generator every morning at 3am. Glass & nails abound and there are no services like water and garbage. OHVs speed thru during the day. But...…

Very welcoming

The staff were very welcoming and accommodating.  We pulled up without a reservation and they had spots available.  The spot they put us in had the neighbors truck parked in it. We didn't want to be confrontational so we asked for a different spot. They gave us a few new spots to choose from. We…

Great Campsite

The rangers and staff here were extremely friendly and helpful. The lake is gorgeous. Watch out for wild burro along the highway. I had cell service close to the lake but at the RV site I did not get service (ATT). The closest gas station is 45 minutes away. There is a shop up the road that sells…

It’s BLM land. So pack out what you pack in. Roads are rough but you can find some really nice places with a 4 x 4 regardless free camping not much else happening there but pretty views
