Lots of hiking and fishing straight off of the property. Far enough from the city to enjoy the outdoors but close enough for the convenience of shopping and restaurants.

Rosie awaits you at Hatfield Creek Vineyard in Ramona for your unique and fun getaway. This is glamping (glamorous camping) at its best in our 15 foot long vintage 1964 Oasis camper.

With 1 full bed and a bunk bed, she can accommodate up to 3 guests. Although Rosie does not have a bathroom inside, there is a fully plumbed bathroom located a few steps away.

The inside is 7 ft wide with the original ice box, three burner pink oven and stove (of course), sink, air conditioning, coffee maker, coffee, dishes and silverware.

Enjoy the sunset from the patio in front of Rosie and stargaze at night by the propane fire pit.

Vintage in the Vineyard

Sunset views and miles of hiking by the Santa Margarita River. Perched atop a hillside the views are amazing from this over 3 acre property. Neighbors offer horseback riding along the river trails and you can book a ride. The river is just less than one mile from the property. Relax as you watch the hawks gliding along the breezes. Take a short drive to tour vineyards and wine tasting. Refresh, renew, invigorate, relax. Neighborhood is rich with orchards of avocados, olive trees, oranges and various other fruits. Hear the Coyotes howl at night and enjoy the bird songs while sipping your fresh coffee in the morning. Peaceful, Serene. A short drive or a little less than a mile walk to the trailhead of the Santa Margarita River (year round water flow) where you can enjoy hiking, biking and horseback riding. We are nestled close to nature with peaceful starry nights. We share this nature with wildlife like coyotes, snakes and hawks (as well as less harmful rabbits, squirrels, lizards and birds) so keep your dogs on a leash and be as cautious as you would be camping anywhere in nature. Use common sense and stay on trails at the campsite as well as when hiking by the river to help minimize risk. Campfires need to be small, contained and extinguished before going to bed and may not be allowed at all depending on the fire departments fire risk danger at the time of your stay... we are in a high fire risk area so need to be extra cautious. On the hike by the river you'll see the carved out bowls in the rocks where the Indians used to grind the acorns to make food. There is some poison oak off the trail at the river hike so again for your safety stay on the trails, which are wide and nice... great hiking! It's beautiful out here... come enjoy a little piece of this paradise with us! Communication is great and we're happy to accommodate... our home is on the property so please reach out if you need anything. We're here to help make your stay a great getaway! We are close to Camp Pendalton and occasionally they practice with their Military weapons so you may hear that. Most of the time the weather is nice and there is a gentle breeze that blows through, but occasionally throughout the year the wind can pick up and get strong. If this happens on your stay we will do our best to accommodate you. For a few summer months the temperatures can be in the high 90's (mostly mid July - mid Oct) which makes wading in the river extra refreshing.

Climb 700 feet up a dirt road in only 1.5 miles to a secluded Mountainous camping with a view of the Regenerative Organic Avocado and Citrus grove and views of the city lights at night. The farm has over 700 avocados trees with 9 varieties of avocados and 20 various citrus and nut trees. We have chickens, ducks, and Guinea Fowl and plenty of wildlife including: hawks, Owls, bunnies and more which all contribute to Regenerative Organic and offer viewing pleasure. The local area provides hiking, wildlife mountain biking, lakes and 35 minutes to the nearest wine tasting in Temecula. We are an hour from the beach and roughly an hour and half to Skiing and Snowboarding at Mt. High. The property sits roughly 2000 ft above sea level and 800 ft above the city below. The 21 acre property provides amazing views as well as biking and hiking along the local fire roads and farm roads. Minutes away from Santa Rosa Plateau for hiking. You are also a 20-30 minute drive to explore the amenities of the local cities, wine country and 45 minutes to the beach.. We offer Camping supplies such as tents or chairs if needed for a small rental fee as well as the ability to purchase fresh avocados, citrus or Farm fresh eggs from the grove. Bailey’s on Palomar is an authentically rustic property with a long history of hospitality stretching back to 1888. Our Historic Dancehall, the venue of choice for many of our bridal couples, was built nearly 100 years ago and once hosted the small mountaintop neighborhood of Palomar Mountain. Lively get-togethers with music, dancing, food, and drinks were common. The old soda fountain is still here! The first Palomar Mountain U.S. Post Office and General Store, originally run by the Bailey Family, are completely intact and filled with antiques and mountain artifacts. The last Baileys to work the property retired in 2018 and passed the torch to a new family. Our family.

We are at 3,000 feet elevation on a 20-acre ranch near to the Cleveland National Forest, with views of Lake Elsinore . The ranch is completely off-grid and runs on well water, wind, and solar energy. Access to the ranch is simple from Interstates 5 and 15. Cleveland National Forest is home to many scenic sites, including Ortega Falls and the San Juan Loop Trail. Numerous hiking, off-roading, mountain biking, and even hang-gliding launches are available. Lake Elsinore, which is located about 7 miles away, offers services and food alternatives. Dana Point Harbor and Glen Ivy Resorts are all 30 miles away, as are Temecula Valley Wine Country and Pechanga Casino, which are also accessible in around 45 minutes. The ranch also organizes spiritual gatherings, meditation, birthday parties, weddings, and music festivals in addition to camping.

Due to the Holy Fire on 8/9/18 we may not have large mature trees for shade, but the Ranch is more beautiful than ever. In the spring time it’s green beyond belief and the wildflowers are insane with vibrant yellows, orange and purple colors.

When your work has stacked up and you’re overloaded, it’s time to gather your camping gear, and head to Carlsbad State Beach camping for solitude and relaxation. 

This San Diego beach and campground feature camping, swimming, surfing, skin diving, fishing and picnicking. The campground is especially popular in the summer, thanks to its scenic location which overlooks the picturesque Carlsbad Beach below. Even better, the campground offers direct access to the beach via a set of well-kept stairs. As a result of the popularity, the campground is reservation only, so don’t show up without one or you’ll likely be unable to stay.

 When you’re done with the beach, check out the nearby California geography and some of the trails within the park. If the ocean isn’t your thing, a number of Campfire Programs, Junior Ranger Programs, and Nature Walks may be offered. That said, program availability changes with the season, so be sure to check signs posted on the restrooms and at the entrance station regarding park information during your visit.

 At night, campers are gently caressed to sleep by the nearby ocean tide, lapping upon its secluded shoreline. There is plenty of privacy throughout, thanks to the large selection of flora and fauna throughout the campground. The campsites themselves are also spacious, with roughly half of them featuring electric hookups. Additionally, All restrooms and shower buildings have accessible facilities. Prior to arrival, visitors with disabilities who need assistance should contact the unit Supervising Ranger.
