Nice place to stop for a week

This was a great stop over for a week. A little remote and you have to drive to the nearest town(s), but clean grounds and nice site. Very easy to book online.

The RV park is pretty large so it's a nice daily walk. We had an easy pull thru site with plenty of space for our RV and truck to fit…

Hostile Campers and Unhelpful Rangers

I set my chair up in either camping spot number 16,17 or 19. A young man and a women in a white jeep took my camping spot. The man got out of his car, he threw my Helinox chair into the bushes, and then he tried to run me over with his jeep despite me yelling repeatedly to stop. He didnt stop until…

Wrong Coordinates

The coordinates listed are incorrect. They led us through Angeles National Forest. It told us to park our car in the middle of the highway with no other roads or turn offs around. There were a TON of cars racing through down the roads. We even witnessed the immediate aftermath of some people racing…

Weekend getaway

This is my go to spot for a random day when I want to go camping! My weekend getaway. There’s almost always a site available, there hiking trails nearby, the restrooms are decently clean except on major holidays, the lake is a nice 15 min walk down some stairs, there’s a convince store across the…

Canyon Walls for Days

We got a spot right up against the canyon wall. I definitely recommend that since it give you shade earlier than the other spots. We went in the middle of the week so it was nice and quiet. Also on a full moon so the crevasses were lit up through the night. Absolutely beautiful place to stop in.…

Out in the middle of no where....

My family would camp here once a year for 4-5 days.  It is dispersed camping, so there are no hookups or designated sites.  It is primarily for off road enthusiasts, however, we just came out here to enjoy the desert and go for walks.  We would usually go toward the end of the year when it is not…

Small and well kept

Overall Clean campground. Well kept restrooms and showers. Park with playground and softball area was a plus. Just wish some of the rv spots were bigger. We stayed on the site #20 which was a good, Other than that we enjoyed our stay.

Brite Lake 👍

Brite Lake is a small lake but you can definitely catch some fish! You can camp right up to the water which was awesome! It does get a little windy at times but nothing too crazy 👍

High altitude, hidden in the trees

Beautiful spot. Old school mountainside camping in the tall trees. Campsites are around 6,000’, pit toilets, grills, steel fire pits, picnic tables and potable water taps. We spent a night in late May and there were only a few other sites occupied on a Wednesday night. This is a hidden gem. It was…

Quiet and Peaceful

When they say mountain, they mean mountain! The road to the campground is a narrow, twisty, two lane road. Then we got to the campground and it got narrower and steeper. The grades in some parts of the campground were double digit percent grades and the hairpin turns were very sharp. We were towing…

Camping in the Park

Cute Campground situated right inside the regional park. There is a playground and large covered picnic area. First come first serve camping, decent sized spots with shade, fire pits, and water. Enough room to park your RV or tent, or both. Clean and quaint. Heads up there’s no cell service once…

Peaceful getaway!

What a terrific campground! Up at about 4000’ elevation, the night sky is clear and bright!

We drove up the one lane, two way road and luckily didn’t have to pass anyone. Look ahead to see if anyone is making their way towards you as there’s only a few pullouts

Small campground which is very…

Nice for tents but more for RV’s

There are two camping lots here, the Upper and the Lower campgrounds. Both seem to be more geared for RV use, the Upper lot is almost completely asphalt and pretty exposed to the sun. I wasn’t a fan. The Lower lot however has ample shade and there’s enough room at some sites to comfortably put a…
