Bolsa Chica is one of my favorite “in the city” places to go and relax. Nothing better than an ocean view and a fire pit!

We stay premium site(Beach front) and it's worth it. The restroom building have only two toilet but have 6 locked shower room, it's really not enough. It's less than 20 minutes walking distance to Starbucks and others shop.

This is part of San Onofre State Beach. The campground is situated between the freeway, Camp Pendleton, and the city of San Clemente. Some campsites offer views of the river basin behind the campground. It is full of huge powerlines and you can see some marine facilities. It is a short hike under…
Luckily Booked last minute on reserve California (the worst web thing ever) on site 49. Looks like there is a oven view from every site. Close to beach and shopping.
I camped here for a week and half and it was quiet. No water at sites but they have water. No service. I pulled a 26 TT. I came in from the La side of the mountains and found it’s easier to go in from Palmdale with a rv or tt. If your hauling anything longer then 20 ft. Try for site 11.
It was nice! Very clean! The boardwalk was endless and great to walk the dog and go for a run! Restaurants all around to have dinner at!
Don’t be afraid of coming here. Very cheap. Close from the beach and civilizations. Very well maintained. Big lots. Nice trails around.
Spent about 5 nights at San Onofre. It was close-ish To Disneyland and had nice amenities.
Showers were coin operated, but at least Hot.
Biggest con: Dump station cost $10 to use!!
A little drive to beach , not on the beach, closest beach is Onofre and it's mainly for surfers
Quick hike into the hills with amazing views overlooking the ocean. I stayed at the lower campsite, I believe it's #31 on the map (I don't think there were actual site markers), and I think this was the best spot in the campground as it had an unobstructed view of the water and was far enough away…

Overall great beach camping. I've been coming to this campground with my family for a long time now. The spaces will up quickly on the weekends, so it's smart to make a reservation way ahead of time. Admittedly the camping spots are hit or miss. Some are on pavement and some are actually on the…

We like coming here. It’s close to our home in San Diego. Spots are decent sized. Concrete pads for the RVs. Level. Decent facilities and they had a pop up store from 11am to 3pm on Saturday. Selling clothing primarily. Nice hikes near by. ATT cell phone service 2 bars for the most part. This is…
It's a nice park great for long walks and trail riding on bikes great for the dog 🐕 also a bit windy so you need to keep a eye on your awning, great cell service with at&t .
So far it is pretty nice we have full hookups 30 or 50 Amp most of the grass is dead I'm guessing because no rain pretty clean great cell service.

Campsites were a short distance from the beach. Campers had free access to private beach, water wasn't too cold and there were tons of tide pools some big enough for my 4 year old son to snorkel in. Campsite was clean. Showers & bathrooms were clean. They have free Wi-Fi. Feels very safe.…
