Cold nights, clear sky, fell asleep to sound of frogs croaking. Fishing only fair, but easy drive to nearby lakes like Alpine Lake or Kinney Reservior. Also fairly challenging trail to Alpine Lake or other VIsta points. We could see Spicer Reservior and Utica Reservior from vista point on trail head, southwest of Mosquito Lakes. One night we heard some wild noise from cabin area across lake but it was dusk and couldn't make out what animal was out there,...? Our dog had a blast swimming the lakes, too cold for us.
