Site dependent

If you get a lakeside spot, they look lovely. But our spot was on gravel with little wiggle room. Low hanging wires were scary pulling into our site, scraping up against our ac units (13.5’). WiFi was terrible. People are kind.

Nice park

Nice, quiet park. Laundry facilities nice and clean. Clean showers. Nice dog park. Management friendly. On lake, so some boat noise. The cons were poor local TV satellite

service and no WiFi for monthly stays. Would stay here again.

Great dispersed area

We were the only folks staying overnight. Most people were using site to launch boats. It was quiet & we were undisturbed until a couple of locals parked their pickups right next to us at 7 am. But they were in their boat & gone quickly. Note, site is a little uneven, so chocks were helpful.

Great showers!

The bath house was super clean and the shower was good and hot with plenty of pressure. The step down into the shower kept the other area from getting so wet. The campground was only about 20% full, probably because it is so secluded. We camped in #35 right next to the lake and enjoyed the lovely…

Kinda Noisy and confusing!

We had a wonderful time! The place was filled with happy kids playing and having fun off their cellphones! Either playing on the playground, swimming, kayaking, riding their bikes or even fishing! Great to see. Way to go parents for getting them outdoors and having a terrific time. As some stated,…

It was an okay place to stay

The over all time was good. The showers had really hard water pressure. Stayed by the marina and had some problems with people coming in late with loud music.

Amazing park!

The park is not overcrowded and very quiet and spacious! The sites are really big and clean. Many things to do and see also. We highly recommend this campground and will definitely stay here again!

Beautiful lake and sunsets

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lake Ouachita State Park! We stayed in space 55 and had a great view of the lake and the beautiful sunsets. Our friends stayed in space 1. It was more shady but didn’t have a view of the lake. The cell service was minimal (1 bar) but a cell booster gave us full…

Tight camper sites

The RV park is kinda small and all of the camper pull through spots are right on top of one another. It does have great views of the lake. It is also in close proximity to Hot Springs National Park. The facilities were pretty clean and well kept. Decent spot for a short stay.

Outstanding COE Park

One of our favorites in the area. Spots are fairly spread out. Nice bath houses. The shower water pressure is amazing and aintenance cleans daily. Lake was low at the time, but the beach area is nice. We arrived after hours and the camp hosts checked us in before the next morning, so we didn’t even…

Fun Trip!

Hike in electric spot that overlooked the lake. Easy to walk down and swim in the water!

There are showers & restrooms, grill & fire-pit, trash bins, & a beach swimming area.

40 minutes outside of Hot Springs but definitely worth the drive.

Chiggers and sand fleas

This was a beautiful free campsite with several grills and concrete picnic tables. You are able to access and swim in the lake. There are also vault toilets but you will need to duck through the huge spiders. No running water or electricity and no stores close so be prepared with food and water.…

Meth-haven

Upon first pulling up place seemed nice and peaceful however we shortly noticed the only people staying were obvious drug addicts. We felt our safety was at risk and we quickly packed up.. Bathrooms were unusable due to hornets. Lake water was not appealing smelt like dead fish was dirty and has…

Best place in Arkansas

Just about every sit is on the water...clearest water in the state. 45,000 acre lake I believe. It is a no brainer to make an effort to stay. Bring or rent boats within a 1/2 mile. Staying in Joplin next to Mountain Harbor Resort.... groceries. By the way... dry county so stock up.
