    Beavers Bend State Park is located in the mountainous region of southeast Oklahoma along the shores of Broken Bow Lake and the Mountain Fork River. The scenic beauty of Beavers Bend State Park makes it one of Oklahoma's most popular areas.

    Towering timbers, crystal clear waters and rugged terrain make this state park an outdoor lover's paradise. Visitors to Beavers Bend State Park will enjoy hiking, biking, boating, fishing, water skiing, nature center activities, river float trips, canoeing, horseback riding and much more. Trout streams are stocked year-round and the park features two catch-and-release trophy areas. Escape into the serenity of nature and follow the Mountain Fork River as it flows from the base of Broken Bow Lake through the park below. This area provides visitors with spectacular views, as well as excellent canoeing and fishing opportunities.

    Nestled among the trees and alongside the Mountain Fork River are rustic and modern cabins, RV sites and tent campsites, as well as two group camps. This 3,482-acre park offers 47 cabins with kitchenettes, plus 393 campsites and over 50 tent sites spread over eight camping areas. All RV and tent sites are available for online reservations. Waste dump stations are available. Leashed pets are welcome in the park and there are cabins with one and two bedrooms that allow pets for a small nightly fee.

    Beavers Bend State Park also offers the Beavers Bend Lodge, situated along the shores of Broken Bow Lake. Every room within the lodge features amazing views of the water. The lodge offers four suites, a great room with a stone fireplace and a conference room. Guests at the lodge are served free continental breakfast in the great room each morning. Situated on Lake Greeson, Daisy State Park is a popular place for fishing and kayaking with rentals available. Lake tours offer views of magnificent rock formations that you may not otherwise see. The Little Missouri River also offers impressive fishing for trout and excellent floating in the spring. Other activities include ATV riding on the Bear Cycle Trail. Daisy is near Crater of Diamonds State Park which makes a great day trip from your campsite.     Overview

    Clear Spring Park sits along the shore of 30,000-acre Wright Patman Lake within the piney woods of northeast Texas. The campground offers full services to campers. With a boat ramp, playground and swimming area, Clear Spring is sure to provide outdoor fun for families, boaters, anglers and hunters alike.

    Recreation

    Wright Patman Lake hosts a wide range of recreational activities, including camping, swimming, boating, fishing, hunting, hiking, picnicking and wildlife viewing. Boaters flock to the lake and anglers try their luck for largemouth bass, catfish, crappie, sunfish and bass. The campground also offers hiking and nature trails.

    Facilities

    With a swim beach, volleyball court, basketball court and playground, the facility is well-suited for families. Boaters and anglers have the convenience of a boat ramp with courtesy dock. Visitors have a variety of sites from which to choose, including 41 with 30 amp electric hook ups and sewer, 22 with 50 amp electric hook ups, 25 with 30 amp electric hook ups , 3 screened shelters for camping, 10 non-electric sites, a group camping area and a day-use group picnic shelter. The group campsite can accommodate up to 100 people and provides campers with a screened shelter, restrooms and showers, as well as 12 campsites with water and electricity. The three screened shelters all have water access and are close to the boat ramp. Each shelter has a ceiling fan, table, campfire ring, grill, covered porch and water. One shelter has a deck right above the waterfront.

    Natural Features

    The campground is located in a southern pine forest overlooking the lake. Many campsites are on the water's edge. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers manages approximately 55,000 acres of public forestland around the lake, providing habitat for wild turkey, bobwhite quail, squirrel, white-tailed deer, waterfowl and migrating bald eagles, pelicans and ducks. Some poisonous snakes inhabit the area.

    Beard's Bluff is located 13 miles east of Ashdown on State Highway 32. It is a bird watcher's paradise with a birding overlook and access to the best sunset viewing on the lake.

Millwood Lake is home to over 300 species of birds including the American Bald Eagle and Great White Pelicans, many of which can be found in the Beard's Bluff area.

Flush toilets, showers, and potable water are located throughout the campground. The facility also offers one centrally located sewage dump station.     Cottonshed Park is located off the beaten path, eight miles southwest of Mineral Springs and Tollette. It is a quiet, wooded area with access to some of the best fishing on Millwood Lake.
