The lake views and ample tree coverage on most sites make me want to give this place 4-5 stars; we had a great time and will be back.

Had we not been with others though and only at our campsite, I’d probably rate it 2 stars. Many of the sites are crowded next to each other and the pads can be very unlevel; I had my small trailer up 5 leveling blocks on one side to make it level. Using our freshwater tank wasn’t a big deal, but the reservation website didn’t make that clear, so we were expecting water hookups. Also, the map wasn’t to scale, so our space had nearly no yard while the other one next to us had twice the normal size.

The location on the lake is great, the pines are gorgeous, but you need to do some research.
