Convenient to Tubac

This campground is run by very nice people.  With our 25' travel trailer we were in a dry campsite for 3 days with our friends in their 26' trailer.  Christy directed us to spots so we could face each other.  There were sites with hookups too.  We were a little too far away for the free Wifi, but Verizon worked great.   There is water and dump on site.  The whole campground was very laid back and quiet.  There is a train with its lonesome whistle that comes by occasionally.  Due to the lack of monsoon rains, much of the Mesquite bog had to be cut back, so there were huge piles of dead wood.  We could have had a campfire but the wind made it unwise.  Beautiful hikes along the Santa Cruz river are very close.   Amazing artist shops in Tubac are just down the road. The interesting history of the area is well displayed in the museum.
