Super convinent and quiet

Stayed here since it is close to the west NP entrance and had a great stay. Saw about 6 other campers when I arrived Wednesday night. No services or amenities so be prepared and pack everything out. Very quiet night and a beautiful sunsets. Surrounded by saguaro’s! Would definitely recommend to…

Convenient, secluded, beautiful

I enjoyed this site so much that I decided to stay additional days. It is about a 30 minute drive West of I-10 just North of Tucson. Great paved roads all the way until you get to Pipeline Road. I camped a half a mile down a dirt road that was not too bad… Just take it slow and easy.

There’s…

Pretty but noisy

Well I was kind of nervous since the last review talked about human trafficking. Which led me to only staying one night, there was a lot of trash when I went. A lot of loud trucks in and out also and the signal for my ATT was one bar if that. Also if you have dogs watch them very carefully with the…

Pipeline Rd, Marana, AZ

Wide open BLM dispersed camping area near Saguaro National Monument outside Marana, AZ.

The road to the site is paved until you leave Avra Valley Rd on Pipeline, which is a very good dirt road. Our site was as far from the pavement as you can get and we had no problems getting in with our 41’…

Peaceful...but..

I stayed at these sites for 2 nights. Easy to get to with lots of Saguaro cactus to enjoy! Felt safe but I did run into several folks who warned of nearby human trafficking rings. As a solo traveler this made me feel pretty uneasy, so I left the following day. If you are traveling with others I…

No sign from road to know you're there

Free. Not crowded, and pretty quiet. Road is washed out in a couple of places so take it slow. Google maps was right on for the turn off.

Good stopover. Showers and bathrooms are closed. Quiet place but dusty. Nice people running it.

I was a bit wary of this campground due to lack of reviews, but after an unsuccessful attempt to camp at another campground close to Saguaro NP East, we decided to give this site a go - and I’m SO glad we did. This is the perfect…

Beautiful Saguaros!

Relatively easy access from main road for most any vehicle, just take it slow and watch for ruts, especially after a rain.

There are many cool places to pull off and camp, but stay on established open spaces, we saw little baby things trying to grow all over the place so don’t squash them. We…

A pleasant stay.

We stayed here for a week. $150 for a week, or $30 a night. 24 hour security is provided. Staff was very friendly and they are very strict on campground policies. The only little hassle was they have a lot of weekend shows going on and they change the line of travel for getting in and out of the…
