Not a place for the night

Super loud road noise and there’s only wifi in the ‘community center.’

Rocky start.

This year started off with a shift in park management. The new park manager was not suited for what was required to run this park. Senior management for this company terminated the park manager. This left the park with only 2 employees. Despite the shortage in manpower, Nona, and Jesse have kept…

Excellent park

We called while inbound. Our site is clean, level and roomy. The cafe has limited hours. But will try it out tomorrow for breakfast. The pool is open, and heated. The staff is nice, the laundry facilities are very clean, reasonably priced and the office makes change. We had breakfast at the super…

Wonderful place to Stay

We loved this place. The best part was the people here. Very friendly. Very accommodating for all your RV needs. Lots to do and the scenery is breathtaking.

Beautiful long and wide sites with a picnic table

This campground dosn't have Wifi available for the sites but does have high speed in the diner and pavilion areas that are air-conditioned with nice workspaces. The kids loved the pool and there is a covered area that is shaded to sit and enjoy watching them. Nice staff but office is closed Sat…

A nice scenic BLM campground close to the town of Quartzite

This BLM is a great place to camp because of its close proximity to Quartzite. There is a deionized water station just down the road I was there in December 2020 and January of 2021 Covid 19 had a big effect on the crowd but I had a very good time not having to negotiate. The RV vendors tent was…

Good Place with Few Other Campers

My brother and I camped in this general area for several days. At the end of January I was meeting up with campers I have met in prior years in this area.  I took several photos of the landscape while we camped there. It was cold and windy most nights. It rained a couple days and we were blessed…

  • I have no idea what this is but it looks like a mini Joshua tress. I like these cacti.
  • I was out for a hike and this patch of reddish grass looked very nice with the mountains behind it.

Great views , not too crowded

This area is becoming more popular, but not crowded yet. Solome is just down the road with propane, laundry and a small grocery store. At the junction of 72 & 60 you can dump for $20 (Ramblin Roads RV Resort) or head down the road on the other side of Solome to the county park, Centennial Park…

Really nice location.

I don't care for densely populated campsites, but don't want to be off in the middle of nowhere alone either. Feel safer when there are some others near by.

That said, I started today at the Plomosa Road Campsite which had a host on site, required registration, but was free. Quite a lot of RV's…

Clean, friendly, convenient

This campground is very accommodating. We arrived late without reservations. They had a site available. It was an easy pull through with full hookups. The wifi is great. There are some activities but limited because of covid. There are bigger sites for the snowbirds.

Very nice place, for an RV park!

We only stopped here to use their dump station and fill our water tanks ($10). Dump station is located at the end of the rows behind sites 77 & 102. The person at the desk said they have their own well water which is good quality.

The staff person was very friendly and sells eggs from his…

Shabby park, but friendly residents

When we drove into this park, the first few sites we saw were so shabby and run down that we almost did not stay. But the main area in the back is much better maintained, and sites are level gravel. Spots are close together but there were enough empty spots when we stayed here in late January that…

ATV Central

Between Hwy 60 and Hwy 10 is a large swath of BLM land with many established spots to camp on the east side of Ramsey Mine Rd. There were many other RVers staying here when we stayed here in January, mostly crowded along the northern half of the road closer to Hwy 60. We managed to find a spot…
